Lots of mistakes in a game we should have dominated, but we FINISHED. I'll take it.
A game the Dolphins could've & should've won if that swiss cheese secondary knew how to defend.....sorry if my perspective is a tad skewed....I'm a dolphins fan........didn't see the game...it wasn't on in my area/...only saw the last few seconds....great call by Kubiak......I should not have been surprised...Houston has the Fins number.....great win for the Texans..they deserved, especially after last week's game ending debacle. As for the Fish, back to the drawing board and a reality check for those fans with visions of playoffs dancing in their heads...

We got us a winning streak going.

    Oh yeah...

Well I don't know if 2 in a row is technically a winning streak but I'll take it.

Good, expected win today. Let up in the 2nd half, but it just wouldn't be a Texan game without getting your heartbeat up til the end.

Love the Offense. Good game for AJ. Ahman Green actually doing his job in getting 3-5 yards a carry. Let's hope he stays on the field. Him and Slaton make a good duo.

Dunta ROb is back but showing signs of year rust and hesitant play. He will come around. The defense needs some iden y in the backfield. The D sucked today, and most of all season.

They didn't show the game here in SA but it was good to hear they got the win. It's expected for them to almost up a lead against one of the worst teams in football but a w is a w.

Next up the lowly Bengals. Hopefully they can get 3 in a row.

If the Texans can get to 500, they will get a wild card spot.

the team is 2-4 in all reality should be 3-3, but actually 4-2.

    Which is unreal.

Indeed. I have talked about this with several people. We gave away the Jags and the Colts game. We are probably the best 2-4 team in the league right now.

We are still not there yet though. We showed the best and worst of ourselves yesterday. We have all the weapons to be a really good team but we still make mental mistakes that make games closer than they should be. Plus Petey gins is still lurking in our secondary for some reason..........

Yeah they didnt show it in Austin either, I watched on a online stream that someone posted on a Texans board.

I honestly believe we are good enough to be 4-2. Those last 2 loses (especially against the colts) were our games and we gave them away. WE need to learn how to play in the 4th qtr. If we have the lead we are letting other teams get back into it. Hopefully we can beat down Cinncy with ease and no to minimal injuries. The Vikings dont look too impressive this year so we "could" beat them. Then the Colts the week after. Hopefully we can come out with a purpose after we let them slip away in out last meeting. Then we SHOULD be able to beat the Browns. We should be able to take the next 4 games, but we need to figure out how to close.

The Ravens are after Cincy. I wish I can say I can see them winning the next 2 but with this team you never know. They can lay a big fat egg against any of those team.

    The Texans are looking better.

Shaub looked sharp and Slayton is just a running monster.

The Cowboys started the season looking great and the Texans looking like a Canadian football team. Now, it seems the roles have been reversed.

Yeah I agree, i dont want to get all hard and then get teased. Our Redzone OFF has gotten better. Its about time they start going to Daniels in the redzone. Thats what the TE is for, those 5 to 10 yard dump offs.

Shaub is looking better and I think his confidence is coming back. I think seeing Sage come in and kick ass (except that 4th qtr) might have lit a fire under his ass. Slaton is a fast little and is a very nice surpise for our 3rd round. Having Green come in to spell him has worked out pretty good. Ahman can't do it every down anymore and having him help out every 3rd series is good. Now if he can only stay healthy. Andre caught a load of passes too and chmomped the yards. Dunta is back and hopefully can help. Things are looking up.

In all reality 3-3 I ...Miami should've won that game....they blew it!!!

    But I'll give Houston props...at 2-4 they are better than Miami's 2-4.

They may be, but they've played better than their record.

They will beat the Bengals because they are a nightmare right now.

The season hinges on the game vs the Ravens.

If they beat the Ravens, get to 4-4, then thats when the team can kick it into gear and make a playoff run. Although they will have to contend with the Colts for the wild card because Tennessee has the division about wrapped up.

I think we can beat the Colts, we proved it last time. Had Rosen held on and slid we would be in a great shape.

The way the AFC has panned out so far, the Texans are still only 1 game back from a possible wild card spot. Considering how poorly they have played it's good to know that a nice run these next few weeks can put them up in playoff contention. I don't they will make the playoffs but it's good to look at the positive side of the season so far.

    Tennessee 6-0
    Pittsburgh 5-1
    Buffalo 5-1
    Denver 4-2
    New England 3-2
    Indianapolis 3-3
    Jacksonville 3-3
    Baltimore 3-3
    NY Jets 3-3
    San Diego 3-4
    Miami 2-4
    Oakland 2-4
    Cleveland 2-4
    Houston 2-4
    Kansas City 1-5
    Cincinnati 0-7

And with the upcoming schedule, they only play 3 teams with above .500 records. If they can turn their defense around they just might end up with another non-losing record.

    Cincinnati (0-7)
    Minnesota (3-4)
    Baltimore (3-3)
    Indianapolis (3-3)
    Cleveland (2-4)
    Jacksonville (3-3)
    Green Bay (4-3)
    Tennessee (6-0)
    Oakland (2-4)
    Chicago (4-3)

Even if we are supposed to be 4-2, our defense still stinks. But hey I would love to make the playoffs and make things exciting. our offense averaging 28 pts per past few weeks.

There aren't many CBs who are going to stick with CJ one on one on a fly route.

    That's on the coaching staff.

Just like not throwing to CJ almost every time he's singled is also on the coaching staff(Lions).
