I don't hate any of these players. The good ones play well (Parker, Manu), the has-beens play like has-beens (Finley), and the bench-warmers play like bench-warmers (Vaughan, Bonner). What's to hate?
Now, Pop, well....
I didn't say he contributed, I took issue with your claim that all he does is play head games and commit stupid fouls. Until you come up with some examples of that, I'm laughing at user name smack being the best you can come up with. To be honest, better posters than you have had to resort to it.

I know. I just answered out of spite because at the time this thread was posted in Basketball News Central.
Not that you aren't en led to answer or anything. I just meant that a non Spur fan's response isn't particularly shocking. It probably breaks down to 70 percent Manu, 23 percent Bowen, four percent Parker, two percent Duncan, and one percent for whatever personal grudge someone would have against one of the other guys.
So what did Horry do to contribute the last 2 years then? Still waiting.
Also,it's not user name smack...it's called comic irony.....sorry you didn't find it funny. ....Relax.
Summers over & so's being nice. I'm just warming up for the new season on the oppositions fan board. I'm not here to insult anybody.
J.V has killed so many Spurs careers. Udrih, Washington, Stoudamire, the Hill maybe next. So get J.V out of here. All of those 4 any day > Vaughn.

This is better than any of the previous excuses made for Beno's stint with the Spurs.
Now, it's all Vaughn's fault?
What sort of BS is that? JV was the one who caused them to play like ? Uh-uh. JV was the one who stepped up to fill the reserve PG hole when they folded like deckchairs. And he did a bloody good job in 2006-7.
Take another look at the foul - sure, it is a stupid foul, but far less sinister than has been reputed. Nash flails like he got shot! There's a lot of flopping in that dive. Maybe if he hadn't thrashed around like a dying replicant* his team-mates wouldn't have left the bench?
As for your point about what Rob's done lately - nothing last season, but the season before he played great D, and the season before that we wouldn't have won a championship without him.
*movie reference
Tiago Splitter is the most hated, yet understood, Spur-to-be. I understand now, but I still loathe him. Damn it, how aewome would a starting frontline of Tiago/Timmy be, SUM !!!!

That's right and you know it. Pop loves Vaughn for some reason, Beno makes one mistake he's straight off, but Vaughn get's away with murder. If some one else came on for Beno when was struggling then i can live with that but J.V coming on the court, you got to be kidding me.
If you're going to the replace the players that i metioned previoulsy at least replace them with some one that's decent. Pop should of not pulled them out after a few mistakes, he should of been more patient and given them a real chance to get comfortable on the court and get some confidence. But instead, he killed their confidence and went straight to Vaughn and the rest is history.

tim and tiago with ian subbing....@tiago
Off court it is Tony Parker. The dude is a real head. Typical French bag!On the court is on Vaughn. Typical reaction after a Vaughn play -------->

"Time to die"
I'm just glad that Robert's time as an NBA basketball player appears to be over.

Wrong.
Beno was pegged as the backup PG in the 06-07 season, and had every opportunity to hold on to that spot.
He's been coddled a of a lot more than Parker was, and still showed up that season unmotivated and out of shape.
And that's all Popovich's and Vaughn's fault?
it wouldn't write him off just yet. he's been known to cruise through the regular season only to show up in the playoffs. some team, quite possibly the spurs or some other contender, will sign him up before the playoffs.
Amen!!!!!!
It is just amazing how many Spurs fans hate Tony Parker.
Pathetic.
Dumbest Poll Ever ... !
amazing !
Xap'
Okay, +1
That's true, but no one made me sicker during games that Brent Barry or Horry=====AND I WAS A HUGE FAN OF BOTH.
The 1000 or so shots they passed up consistently completely downed why they were signed in the first place. Wide open, in their spots, withing the offense, completely ignored because they wanted to pump fake. They gave me headache after headache.
Some people need to have their polls removed.
