It's like you purposely neglect to remember that she was a total unknown in the highest sense two months ago. When people of the lower 48, when the world heard about her, it was when they found out she was picked as the VP, the number two, of the McCain ticket.
That was and is the only reason she is so popular today. They write screenplays like this and turn it into movies. The nobody who became somebody overnight and was herald in with lots of attention because they knew nothing about he or she.
If Sarah Palin were actually in it from the beginning, she'd have fared worse than Ron Paul of the republicans and Dennis Kucinich of the democrats.
