Over the top. It is one thing to go after her beliefs, experience and issues but it is another to show such disrespect. This could be also interpreted as advocating her death which is just f'ing criminal.
Extremely short article.

Asinine. The Secret Service needs to pay the owner a visit.
What would the news be if it was Obama being hung?
i don't know. let's ask "blackeyed B girl".
yeah, so I have to say that this is ridiculous. As another poster said, send in the SS.
"if it was Obama being hung?"
"if it WERE Obama being hung"
and yes, the effigy with Obama's name hung by an admitted racist did make the news, and this forum. your selective forgetting conforms to your ultra-right wing prejudice.
lol at the Star of David on the top of the head. Peoples are dumb.
They should have dressed her in leather and put her in whatever position whottt wrote about to Penthouse Forum.
The property owner would be tried for a hate crime. But seeings it's Palin it's just a guy exercising his right to free speech, propped up by some lame ass reference to Halloween decorations.
Does your brain ever get gross and stinky with all the that comes out of it?

The guy who hung an Obama ghost effigy from his tree is being tried for a hate crime? link?
I think the racist and sexist undercurrents that have come to the table on both sides of this election (left and right) have revealed a lot about our country that still needs examination. As much as it makes me cringe, it also give me hope that being forced to look this kind of thing smack in the face will ensure that we don't dismiss it as something that never happens anymore.
I don't think this is a hate crime, it's just an act of hate. So long as it's on private property I agree that it's protected by free speech (and I would continue to uphold that same belief if it were Obama-related).
It's outrageous. It would be outrageous if it were an effigy of Obama, too. For that matter, it would be outrageous to me if it were an effigy of boutons, whottt, timvp, or Aggie Hoopsfan.
Wow even boutons?
Totally inappropriate.
BTW, if you ever want to make a point using something like this to make it is pretty ridiculous. Any sane person on the left is going to decry it for the bull it is and the others are all nut jobs you aren't ever going to prove a point to anyway.
Looks more like Janet Reno.
The McCain doll is a fail too. the face looks stereotypically Asian for some reason.
"It's West Hollywood after all."
Ain't that the truth. Decent folk won't go close enough to the place to be outraged.
About the same length as: http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5h...KqPFQD93HB2L80
Of course the Palin effigy you've shown is a simpler story if only because the person displaying it isn't hiding and the secret service doesn't have to go digging to figure out if it's a threat or a prank.
So you don't have a problem with it, gotcha.
The reason it is impossible to argue with Aggie Hoopsfan.
I have a problem with you being such an idiot. I have a problem with that.
Be compassionate. It could be that he's just another lost visitor from an unfortunate alternate reality.

Such people have been identified for over a year now and it is not their fault that their sense of logic and history is askew.
