My ass town only has a Sams
I am not sure how many of you know this but Costco has awesome prices on liquor. I am telling you now because this is the time when they have the gift sets. They cost the same as if you just bought the bottle but they come with cool stuff. For 45 bucks I got my 1.75 liter of Crown and with it I got a cool crown flask. It is stainless steel with the logo on it and it even has a cool purple cover with the logo on it. If you don’t want to drop that for 20 bucks you can get the smaller size with cool crown whiskey glasses. They have other gift sets too that come with badass stuff at no extra costs. I just thought I would spread the wealth before the holidays for those of you looking for gifts.
Plus you don’t have to be a member to get into the Costco liquor store.

I went to Sam's on my lunch break ... they were out of pumpkins.
And my friend (the one I won't do any of her ex's) tipped me off on that a while back. I don't drink that much anymore ... but they have sometimes ridiculously low prices on liquor.
Yeah I have been going there for about 2 years now and I always tell people about it to save some moolah. They have Gigantor bottles of tequila for like 30 bucks. May not be the top shelf stuff but they are good for mixers. Plus their pre mixed drinks are good. I thought they would be weak but I think they use more alcohol than I do.

they have selection for decent liquor. like 3 or 4 single malts, nothing stood out. if you're looking for crown, jack, beam or ty tequila it's not bad i guess.
They bring in new stuff all the time. They sell good stuff all the time you just have to keep an eye out. I buy my Cabo Wabo there when they have it. It's 35 dollars there compared to over 55 everywhere else.
maybe the one where you live is different - in North Austin the selection is kinda weak, and the prices not really any better than Spec's or Grapevine.

i used to work at the 281/1604 and the one in south austin..........the san antonio one has a better rotation of product.......scotch not sooo much, but they do have some good single malts (glen fiddich, macallan, glenlivet )...the top shelf tequila selection is usually pretty good and definitley cheaper than most non-sale prices at other liquor stores....
I live in SA. I never went when I lived in Austin so I can't compare it.
They have Patron. They even have cool gift sets of patron that has three different types.No Patron I guess huh???

Costco is where I get the jumbo size bottle of Kahlua...
Went there this last weekend and we got the BIG bottle of Baileys for Billy and I got my bottle of SoCo and Lime together in a little gift set. Spent 50 bucks which is CHEAP in my opinion. Plus we are going back this weekend to get the GRANDE bottle of Patron for a party we are going to.
