Judges hate to have their asses handed to them by higher courts. The precedents that appear to have been set regarding standing of the plaintiffs give the impression that most of these cases are going to be dismissed as quickly as this Washington state case of which you are so thoroughly informed.

because this is in no way clear cut and is a silly technicality. this is a major low down shot in the dark attack McCain would be foolish to touch with a ten foot poll. At one time it didn't mean it wasn't true.

A "case" or a suit?

I could file the suit I referenced above in any of those states. It doesn't mean I have a case.

I might eb a little better informed on it if it was actually that big a story.

I'm going out right now to file a lawsuit against whottt demanding that he produce not only his original birth certificate, but an accounting for every dollar in cash that he's ever spent in his life. And I'm going to file that suit in at least 12 states. Obviously, my suits and the claims I've asserted in them are meritorious -- after all, I filed suits in multiple states.

I wrote Hawaii Supreme Court because when I Googled "Obama birth certificate supreme court" pretty much every story referred to the HI court. So I assumed no case had been brought to the US Supreme Court.

It was only when I read an article about Berg's frustration over having his suit dismissed, and his claim that he was going to take it to the US SC, that I realized what you were talking about.

If I'm running for President I have exactly no problem producing my birth certificate...in fact I'm proud to do so. I also consider it an intelligent thing to do as it pertains to winning the election...at least when compared to the likely impact(no matter the scale) of not producing it. If I'm running for President I want the issue resolved immediately to the satisfaction of all.
