    Thank you!

    Farmer >>>>> Hariston

We need people who can put the ball in the hole right now.
It's not even really a matter of who is better. Farmer is theoretically a scorer .. which is why he's getting time right now. If Pop isn't going to play Bowen for defensive purposes, he's certainly not going to play Hairston for defensive purposes. Especially when Udoka is exactly the same style of defender but with a better understanding of what the Spurs are doing and better offensively.

Well I hate to say it but we need to overhaul our defense now or just tank the season. We are not blocking shots, its easier to score on us than on a drunk Paris Hilton, and WTF is up with our rotations and rebounding?
Let's start analyzing everything once our actual team is healthy and complete.

Man I LOVE MASON. I didn't get to see the play cause my video feed crapped out. So it was not like the last game where Mason should have taken the shot?
    it was EXACTLY like that

Spurs at the bottom of the S/W division.
The old men have 4 days to rest up, or rust up, before Dallas.

How nice would it have been to have someone that could have played defense?

    Hairston > Farmer

And Tolliver had better be amazing in the rebounding and defense department, because the Spurs clearly don't need another three point shooting one trick pony.
I don't know about that. Hairston may have scored 0 points and we lose by more.

The only thing I agree with it Tolliver. We don't need any more one trick ponies. I'd rather Watkins if that's all Tolliver can do.

I made up his injury? I made up Pop's overly cautious nature? I did that?
No...you called out someone as being a "moron" for saying he should be playing when at least 5 other posters said the same thing. Besides, this pretty much explains why people think he should get some PT...

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/player...?playerId=3438

Hill, who is nursing a sprained left thumb, practiced Monday and has been medically cleared to play against Phoenix on Wednesday. All that is stopping him from playing is his head coach's own trepidation, the San Antonio Express-News reports. (Oct 28)

So yeah...you pretty much showed who the "moron" was...

    (rebounding killed us)
Pick one, and stick to it. Farmer can't get a rebound.

Man, I hope Hill is a good player. If he's a bust, I'm going to be sick for a long time.
Batum was available and we passed on him?

Yeah. Useless pieces of s...asha often start on NBA Championship AND gold medal teams. No one is saying he's an all-star, but he's a decent roll-player and another big would have been very helpful tonight.

    Go Phil your little Jackson.

Aaaaaaarrrrrrggghhhhhhhhhh....it's all ing over.....0-2???? It's going to be a ty season!!!! Aaaaaaarrrghhhhhhh trade everyone!!!!

Anyway....once again they need to figure out how to play together with what they've got and somehow remember they're supposed to a defense-driven team. Allowing two teams in a row to score 100 is not a good start (hopefully this trend ends). Not enough for me to kick a puppy out the window. Yet. Oh well, time to watch Tropic Thunder for some comedy relief. Hopefully that works out better than hoping the Spurs wouldn't allow another team to score 100,lol.

I called you a moron. I called you a moron for saying he isn't getting playing time because he's not even better than Farmer. I also called you a moron for not spelling the guys name correctly and you're still a moron because this is the second time I've spelled it out for you.

He's still injured and he's still being held out by Pop. How does that correlate to Farmer >> Hill therefore he gets not playing time?

Do you like looking stupid or something?

LOL beautiful TiMVP. If Bruce can't even get on the court how in the heck was Hairston going to play tonight?? Our offense really bogged down there in the third quarter.

spurs defense needs to get back in sync. bowen seems to be struggling and the spurs are missing two of their bigs. mason, duncan, udoka, and hill are all very good defensive players so once oberto comes back, they should be able to keep teams in the low 90s again. i'm still concerned about the offense because finley won't be putting 16 up every night. when finley puts in 16, it should be a easy win.

It really matters little. If Mason keeps it up Farmer will be cut as soon as Manu is cleared to play. By that time we should have some idea what type of player we need to add to shore up our weaknesses.

I don't know about that. Hairston may have scored 0 points and we lose by more.
He also might have been able to contain some of the guys that were getting loose for jumpers because nobody on the Spurs could defend them. He's a better offensive player than Bowen is, and he's a good rebounder. I don't care about ifs and buts, and I'm aware Pop wouldn't play a guy that he cut from the team; obviously he thinks Farmer and Tolliver are better, but IMO the Spurs need defenders and rebounders.

13-5 offensive rebound advantage by the blazers. also a 6-14 turnover advantage. need oberto back.

Yah for 3 quarters transion D because of TO's and offensive boards hurt the Spurs.

In the 4th they stepped it up. Hardly any mistakes. Pop went with smallball keeping out Bonner/Thomas. Duncan and Tony set it up, Udoka, FIn and Mason sealed the deal with big shots. Fin should of knocked it in.

I didn't get to see the play . AS I said no one replied back and ing corrected me when I asked what happened because my video feed cut out and came back with Finley missing the jumper. I made an assumption that Mason passed up a good shot again.
After watching the replay, Mason may have had a chance at a layup, but the pass to Finley was a good decision. 0-2 - big ing deal!

By the time Manu is cleared to play, the Spurs will be 12 games out of first in the division. After two games, the type of player they need to shore up their weaknesses is a guy who can get rebounds and generate a stop every so often.

No...he is still on bereavement leave. I think he could have helped more in the rebounding dept. than Matt did, but the fact is that we need another big...for the same reasons we needed one in the playoffs last year.

I have high hope for Ian and we look like we can score with anyone, but D is our calling card so unless we are going to become like Dallas we need to fix the D or we are an 8th seed!
Tank the season? Step off the ledge, son... We just need to get healthy

Batum was available and we passed on him?
No. Rumor was that we were all set to pick him and Batum was excited to be a Spur...but then the Blazers arranged a draft day trade with Houston at 25 to take Batum...we then took Hill at 26...yeah, that was painful...
