This is going to be a tough game for the Spurs. Believe it or not, losing Oden doesn't kill this team since they are used to playing without him. If the Spurs can fix those mental defensive mistakes, then they will have a good shot.

this will be a tough game..
Portland is a younger team, and the type of team we've had trouble with..no Manu and Oberto will hurt again, moreso Oberto, since we already know Manu will be out for a while..they'll also be out for revenge, since the Lakers completely embarrassed them on opening night..
just like against every good team(Portland will be good this year) without Manu, we'll need TP and Timmy to score at least 25+ a night IMO..
We dont need Manu or Oberto to beat the Blazers. Duncan and Parker will do the job.
They wont have to score 25+ points iether. If Bonner can get his head out of his ass and play a decent game tonight we'll be fine. Udoka too.
i hope we showcase our bench more.
blazer bench will probably destroy the spurs's. The spurs need to rely on duncan and tony more in order to win.
Should be another great game. The stakes are very high, both teams have something to prove tonight.
Spurs lost at home to the hated Suns.
Blazers lost the game and Oden to the Lakers.
The team that wins tonight will get their season back on track, the other will continue to stumble for a few more games. I know, it's the second game of the season but it's a mental thing.

I can see it already: Pop starts yelling at Bonner as he's walking to the bench. Bonner stops... looks right at Pop, and without saying a word, chokes him. Sprewell would be proud.

The Blazer crowd is going to be crazy. They were going bonkers in the preseason. Perhaps Oden being out will have them a little muted to start the game off but I'm sure they'll be ready to explode.
Transition defense to limit the excitement level will be key.

Would just like to add that I reckon I have the nicest smelling coffee that I've ever had.
don't have a dog in this race, but hope to see the blazers pull it out.
