Yeah, like I said, not a pro-Obama piece by any means but at least it gives a somewhat fair representation of what he's proposing. Rare these days.
Because it came from "American Thinker" I had to double check to make sure that particular blogger wasn't the same guy who wrote this.

Yeah, kind of; still don't understand the choice of words exactly.
and, damn, there is some thin skin bumping around.
Gonna be like this for the duration of the Obama presidency?
Tired of it already.
That's true; however the reality of it is nearly as scary as a national police force to those of us with limited govt. sensibilities.
after 8 years of dubya, can you honestly claim that with a straight face?
By claiming to be a "pure" conservative, and thus not to be held responsible for the excesses of Republicans and other pretenders to the conservative faith.
One of the reason for Bush's historic low approval ratings is because fiscal conservatives do not answer "yes" when asked if he is doing a good job.
It is going to be nice to hang EVERYTHING Obama does on everybody who voted for him for the next howevermany years. It sure makes "debating" easy, if somewhat lazy.
and still voting republican every chance he gets.
Again; didn't vote for McCain.
sure--we believe you.![]()
That's right, you voted for quintessential symbol of REAL America, "Joe the Plumber"...who's actually Sam the contractor who doesn't have a plumbing license, gets his election "research" from email chain letters, and is mighty pissed off at the extra taxes he'd have to pay for his make-believe quarter of a million plus income.
God Bless America.
So -THIS is the nature of discourse now?
I think 101A believes THIS.
101A says he doesn't.
So I think 101A DOES THIS.
101A says he doesn't.
I think 101A is lying.
Damn, this is fun!
just admit you're a die-hard republican. stop pretending to be an independent, or a libertarian. yoni has that market cornered already.
Amazing how much you know about Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher.
Go internets! Honestly, that's why I think the idea of privacy inherent to everyone will soon go the way of the dodo in 50 years time or so.
You can thank John McCain in the 3rd debate for that.
And don't cry for Joe "shows for every press conference and (almost) every McCain campaign stop" the Plumber...he's already lined up for a book deal.
Ironically, there's nothing make-believe about the 15% his agent will take.
Never claimed to be a libertarian. Never claimed to be open-minded for that matter. This is the first year (been voting since '88) I have not voted for the Republican candidate for President, and I made that decision when McCain voted for the bailout.
amazing that liberals and the media make Joe the PLumber the focal point - when the point should be what Obama said. the plumber isn't runnig for office - he was outside playing catch with his son and asked a simple question to which Obama revealed his desire to redistribute the wealth. That is the issue - I could care less about Joe.
Did I say I was crying for Joe?
Dude has made the most of his 15 minutes. Ironically, now he probably will get to pay some of that 39% rate.
Personalize.
Attack.
Don't debate the issues.
(however, that is BOTH parties playbook these days)
so the media is inviting joe to campaign for mccain? the media asked mccain to refer to joe a dozen times or more in the 3rd debate? the media asked mccain to bring up joe's name at every rally and campaign stop?
So you care about Joe. Thanks for clearing that up.
A blessed fortune, forever tainted by an extra 3%.
Oh, the gut-churning tragedy of it all...
No I am saying I COULD care less -- everytime I hear his name I care less and less about him because it detracts from the real issue more and more.
LOL
Say this very slowly and think about what you're saying,
I......could.....care.....less.
