In light of the fact that no one implied that sexuality is an unforgivable sin, this is truly one of the strangest questions in the entire thread.
Yeah sure. So I detest racists and bigots, big deal? What I dislike one step below that are people who feel compelled to push their morals onto others. What we all call "moral legislation". That pisses me off.
You know, you dont even know how I feel about letting gay people getting married or a civil union, or wtf ever, do you?
No, because you never asked, and I never told. Know why? Because when it comes to like this it aint none of my damn business.
I dont give a rat's ass what human adults want to do with other human adults. What they do has absolutely no bearing on me, and you tried hiding behind your "children" argument.
You gutless cowards are crying wolf entirely too much with this "...think of the children" bull . Its a joke now, are you happy? Yes, every time someone makes mention of "what about the impact on children", I laugh now. I cant help but picture some morally obligated, PTA bag crying into some microphone talking about the adverse effects of "gay marriage" and its impact on their moral fiber. ..., that made me kinda laugh writing that, actually.
Bring your weaksauce. Maybe in between meetings tomorrow I'll enjoy reading your compelling argument on how I am a hyporcrite of some sort.
You wouldnt have been so annoying if you just stated your opinion and moved on. Its ok to be a bigot, youre en led. You can hate gay men (for whatever reason, you enjoy that "side" of the argument) all your life...its your business.
But dont get high and mighty about it by insinuating that any Christian who votes No on Prop 8 is somehow not a good Christian. How bout this....you shut the up and keep your hate speeches to yourself next time, k?
Greaaaaaaat.
In light of the fact that no one implied that sexuality is an unforgivable sin, this is truly one of the strangest questions in the entire thread.
we don't need one. no one is pushing you. you've got this idea in your head that it affects you in some personal way. people often attack what they don't understand. it's what happens when their brain can't work it out.
So if the people of Cali vote against gay marriage again, will they be overruled...again.
no, but i'm not bothered by that.
why, it doesn't discriminate against you.Im on the defensive on this deal.
it will have zero affect on traditional marriage and you're planting the seed that encourages children to hate, for whatever reason. We are protecting traditional marriage and our childrens morals.
anyone who tells you you are filled with hate for not wanting your kid to be exposed to unnatural gayness.
where is your kid gonna get that?
I don't care about gay marriage but at the same time I don't want it to be the norm for the children to grow up around.
And I am sick of this game the far-left plays of pegging someone as hate-filled simply because they do not agree on such a cultural difference. You try to saturate the people in political correctness to limit any debate.
serve it up. let's see that list.
and your children could find out about it in church. the hard way.
the issue alone is not enough spearhead that move?
Alright, see the way you put that was a uva lot better.
Admittedly, my posts were a little too venom filled...re-reading them, Im not that happy with them.
So here is the way I see this...
They are adult (18+) human American citizens. You are voting against their ability to share a life together to its fullest.
This would seem to me to a perfect example of protecting the minority from the majority.
The Right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
I donated to something that was worthwhile instead.

Supporters and opponents of a ballot initiative that would outlaw same-sex marriage in California were preparing for a long, tense wait Tuesday night after exit polls and early returns showed neither side with a clear advantage...
Early returns showed the Proposition 8 passing with 54 percent of the vote, but that was with only 13 percent of precincts reporting.
Exit polls had the race a virtual tie. Parents, churchgoers and voters who never attended college said they voted for the gay marriage ban, while college-educated and nonreligious voters opposed it...

oh let me dumb it down for you -- you are a bigot - the wording in your post is full of bigotted comments. just because it is against heterosexual people or folks clinging to their bible - or was it guns ... doesn't make it okay. it still makes you a bigot. -- or i can say it in spanish if you prefer...
...well holy ...
If only more people listened to Sam Jackson.
I feel so bad to McCain, I will donate to him
There aint a damn thing I said in any previous post that makes me a bigot.
Nice try on the stretch of the definition though.
no stretch -- truth -- read it again. i believe someone else already took your post and highlighted it ..
all the same -- those folks against prop 8 and that ad they ran depicting mormon missionaries was terrible and wrong --
I just discovered this thread, I didn't read it all so I don't know if you were being sarcastic or not.
