Yeah sure. So I detest racists and bigots, big deal? What I dislike one step below that are people who feel compelled to push their morals onto others. What we all call "moral legislation". That pisses me off.

They are adult (18+) human American citizens. You are voting against their ability to share a life together to its fullest.
This would seem to me to a perfect example of protecting the minority from the majority.
