Oh man....that's the definition of OWNED.
Wow. Annihilated.
RIP
Unfortunately the only thing I know about her is that Barack compared her to Jeremiah Wright.
The thought of Apple Obama's assassination sure got implacable44 all hot and bothered.

Democratic presidential candidate, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., sheds tears as he talks about his grandmother, Madelyn Payne Dunham, at a rally in Charlotte, N.C., Monday, Nov. 3, 2008. Obama's grandmother, who helped raise him, died peaceably in her sleep Obama announced Monday, one day before the presidential election. She was 86. (AP Photo/Alex Brandon)
Human Being and Human Being. What a hyprocrite you are. And Whottt got pwned like the idiot that he's become.
looks like that is lodged pretty far up your ass baggggggg
I was only insensitive about Kennedy becauase you guys were insensitive about Mary Jo Kopeckne.
Hey...BTW, did that fat lump of ever die yet?
I wish he'd hurry up....
Die you fat ing pickled Pig Die.
A lie. The only one who even brought her up, prior to your post, was xrayzebra. Indeed, in another alternate universe, the whottt there might complain that xray was the first to politicize a thread about someone dying.
It's silly to pretend any of us have any personal emotion tied up in the death of someone we don't know personally. All our feelings are sort of movie-watcher false emotions. Empathy, sympathy or the more base sentiments on display here. As for those dealing with real grief, I'm not in the position to judge. I got the giggles at my most beloved grandfather's funeral to the point where I forced myself to leave. I don't believe there's a right or wrong way to deal -- you just do the best you can. Luckily I've never had to grieve with an entire world watching me for any signs of weakness.
I admit when I first heard it, I thought about the effect it would have on the campaign. Not because of sympathy votes (I just can't believe anyone's going to vote for someone because their grandmother died) but because it is such a tragic situation and it will cast a pall over everything that happens from here on. My next thought was that she died not getting to see him become president. But then, on the off chance that something bizarre happens, she died believing he could and would. And that's almost better. Possibilities are always more magic and wonderful than outcomes. I can't imagine she felt anything other than pride at Obama being the expected winner - and rightly so. On the off chance McCain pulls this out, or pity forbid - some nutjob attempts an assassination -- she will have passed only believing her grandson became president. I'm also curious if she got a chance to cast an early ballot for her grandson before passing. I think that small Amerian act would have been a great pleasure to her in her final days.
From a practical perspective this just sucks. Not only is his grandmother gone, but when the expected celebration takes place it'll be played as bad taste. He'll be mocked for daring to shed tears over her loss. Those like you see in this thread will use it as a means to vilify and dehumanize a very human situation. And more often than not it will be the hate-mongers who play the "I'm more Christian than you" cards who will be most vile (they already are on many websites).
Personally I feel worst for the two little girls who have been robbed of grandmothers and grandfathers on their father's side repeatedly. Obama's grandmother was obviously an incredible influence upon him; it's a shame they won't get the benefit of her company.
I also have to say that the right-wing nutters (and I mean nutters, not all conservatives) on this board are truly pathetic. "I had to chase you into a death thread because you may have mocked me" has got to be the lamest thing I've ever heard. Whether or not it was inappropriate for the lefties to bring up the previous insensitiveness on this issue it moot. If you have to measure the size of your by trashing someone's dead grandmother, you need more psychiatric help than anyone on teh interwebs can offer you. Have some dignity ffs.
GAYISM?

I love the five year old excuse on this one. Also, Ted Kennedy once teased him in the locker room.
whottt the eff just happened?
Who actually cares about this? Obama is a grown man with a family of his own, and his grandmother was in her eighties . . . that's just life. If Mic e Obama died, that would be news. If Obama's daughers died, that would be news. But his grandmother?
I suppose it sucks she couldn't watch him today, but . . . come on, that's not newsworthy.
woah -- slow your roll.. I surely do not want Obama to be assassinated. I don't even want there to be an attempt on his life. I don't need him to be a martyr or worse.
she didn't die, she was raptured
