Hey, at least they aren't being a tease and leading us on. They're letting us know up front that we're not getting anything from them. Not even some dry humping.
LOL, and not the fake LOL people compulsively type on every forum....but a real authentic LOL.

I knew the Mavs were never more than a second round elimination team, but 100-81 to the Cavs? 11-for-34 out of the so-called "Big Three"?

I guess the Spurs will get their first win of the season tomorrow night.

If it's not Derek Harper dribbling out the clock, Roy Tarpley stuffing white china up his nose, Jason Kidd and Jimmy Jackson fighting like es over a girl, then it's Steve Nash coming back and sending us home in the playoffs, Dwyane Wade shooting 20 free throws a game, or running into your own personal kryptonite at the hands of Nellie...

Being a Mavs fan is just an eternal loop of Charlie Brown trying to kick a football...

i sense a first round exit this year at the expense of DJ Mbenga going off and averaging a double-double on us after we unexpectedly shut down Kobe, Gasol, and Bynum at the same time.

They shot the ball well and got all the calls in 2006-2007, but other than that, no defense, no guts, no heart.

I love Dirk. If it makes sense, keep him. But at some point, you have to do what's best for the franchise. At this point, hitting reset on the playstation is probably the best course of action. How soon can you retool this thing before his contract is up? Not very likely.

It would do Mavs fans well to boycott all Mavs games for the rest of the season.

We were sold a big bag of bull this offseason by Donnie Nelson, Mark Cuban, and Rick Carlisle. All three of them promised the fans that Josh Howard had repented of his actions, had a more positive outlook on the season, and was committed to doing the things that made him an All-Star (slashing, defense, hustle) and would never revert to the crap that made us all hate him (step-back jumpers, ballhogging, letting Anderson Varejao lumber right past him for an uncontested dunk).

He did all the right things for one half of the first game of the season, and reverted right back to all his old ty tendencies.

Mavs fans, don't feel bad if you put faith in this team. You were flat-out LIED TO by the owner, general manager, and head coach. If Josh could only muster 24 minutes of commitment to his new style, then it's obvious that HE NEVER COMMITTED TO THIS TEAM AT ALL. And there's no way you can tell me that the Mavs front office didn't know this all along.

I don't know if this is just the fact that Cuban is too friendly with the players or what, but the Mavs front office knew that Josh Howard was the same dumb asshole that we saw in the Hornets series, and WILLFULLY LIED TO EVERY MAVERICKS FAN by promising a new and improved Josh.

Boycott all Mavericks games and let Mark Cuban know that we aren't buying his bull any longer.

dont get me wrong, i hate the mavs, but i just have to strongly disagree. they earned a bit of respect from me when they beat us and went on to the finals.

trading for kidd was the end of them though

I ate a whole $5 pizza from Little Caesar's tonight. I think that's fitting for what I just saw.

As much as Mavs fans will scream to blow the team up, Cuban will never do it.

That's why we'll never win a le until Cuban sells the team. His passion is wonderful and while he's certainly committed to winning, he'll never have the guts to get rid of Dirk or any of his "friends" on the team. Hopefully he has so much fun being miserable with the Cubs that he doesn't have time for the Mavs and dumps them off.

Little Caesar's is like the Hot Pockets of pizza chains - you'll never eat Little Caesars and then immediately afterwards think "I'm really glad I ate that!"
