How do McCain or Obama get to 270?

Hey Manny, before I forget, congrats on today I imagine Obama's victory had a lot to do with volunteers like you. How does it feel to help make history?

I'll make a post about it in a bit but I want to take time to do it because I've been mulling over what this means to me and how to put it as correctly as possible.

Simply put the entire time I spent volunteering was a transformative process for me and I'm positive it had the same effect on a lot of people who took part in the campaign at whatever level they did.

Other than that moment, I bet you guys breathed a HUGE sigh of relief once he actually held PA. I was nervous as that McCain was gonna somehow steal that state.

I was still out in the field when they called PA. I still knocked on a bunch of doors after that. I was really confident, but I did definitely feel relief after they called it and I was extremely surprised that they called it so quickly.

There was a lot of talk of the Bradley Effect although I really thought Obama would out perform polls based on the "Cellphone Voters" and a Reverse Bradley Effect due to Black turnout. Electoral-Vote.com has the first analysis I've found and it basically says that Obama outperformed polls in every single swing state. The polls were off, but not in McCain's favor.

I'm very happy to hear this nation is less racist than I expected it to be. I've been predicting a huge Bradley Effect since it became clear Barack was going to get the nomination, and I'm ecstatic to be wrong on it.

i never said anything about anywhere. i just going by what i saw in your post saying that if you live in those areas, you're a racist if you voted for mccain. i really can't see what else you were trying to get at with your post.

He didn't call somebody a racist because they voted for McCain. More like the reason they voted for McCain is because they were racist. May seem to be a trivial difference, but it's pretty significant.
