Maybe Tony gave the Spurs a wake-up call! Maybe they will realize the regular season has started. It's time to play ball now!
Parker is the winning wall paper on Spurs.com.

the story behind the photo:

After Al Jefferson backed down Tim Duncan and sank a turnaround hook to put Minnesota up 116-114 with 2 1/2 seconds left in the first overtime, Parker took the inbounds pass, dribbled right, pump-faked once and let the ball fly. He let a sly smile creep across his normally stone face () as the Wolves trudged back to the bench.
Jefferson paused to sit on the scorer's table before play resumed and just shook his head as if to say, "What more can we do?'' ()
San Antonio won for the first time in four games this season, and picked up its sixth straight win and 11th in the last 12 meetings against Minnesota.
Well, to me it's more amazing to think that such a quality board as Spurstalk may have posters that do still understand nothing to basketball !
And an another one to the "TonyParker ingCrew"
I know they will recognize themselves !

Come on we all know that TP is just a great role player but he has no potential to be a franchise player.
We must trade him now his value is up may be we can have a first round pick for him.
His performance of last night just demonstrated again that he is not a true PG, a true PG would have done 55 assists and 10 points.
Besides 55 pts is the proof that TP is selfish: he didn't pass the ball at all for manu... wait manu was not here... well no assist to Finley... wait finley made a 0-255.
I'm very happy for him and props also to Mason and THE franchise player TD.
It's interesting. Hollinger lists the Spurs as the worst defensive team in the league because their pace is so slow, but penalizes Parker's 55 point game because the pace was so fast.
I read that too.
It's only four games and the defense will get better!
Also, you can get lost in the forest with stats. The Spurs needed this win and you will have a night or two in an 82 game season...where a guy just goes off!!
Manu did it last year to the Timberpuppies with 46 points and won the game in the last few seconds!!!
I will give this team 20 or 30 games before I start looking at the stats to determine how this team will do with their defense.
Props to TP on his fantastic night, though!!!!
The more impressive part for me is that minutes didn't affect Parker's efficiency.
You would have think that a player supposed to rely on his speed would not be able sustain such on amazing effort for 51 minutes.
TP was AWESOME!
But we need 55 and big night from Mason, TD and two overtimes to get past the Wolves? I know they are much improved, but the Wolves?
A win's a win I guess.............
a win is a win when you are 0-3, yes.
^ wears silver and black colored glasses.
Sometimes a win is all you need....no matter who it's against! Remember, last season Manu had 46 points and won the game 100-99 over the Timberwolves.
You will have games like this in a 82 game season.
Moreover, three of the four games in this early season came down to the last minute in the game and to have one of them go your way and on the road....you will take it!!!!
Doesn't bode well that it took a Herculean effort from TP just to beat the Wolves in double OT.
TP is seriously unstoppable when his mid-range is going.
