basketball Europe laughs about Panathinaikos. huge blowout by Barca, 90-66.
Panathinaikos - what a bunch of Divas. no fight, no heart. no nothing. worse than last season. the NY Knicks of Europe.
if Barca didn't turn the last minutes into an exhibition, they win by 40.
Of course. Spanoulis has been injured and has not play yet in this season. You do realize he is better then most all rest of team put together?
Obradovic at least learn lesson from last year and is make Jasikevicius into bench role player and nothing more like he should be.
Bad thing is one again for third year in row when Spanoulis come back he will again must play all year with plantar foot injury![]()

It look like Americans is wrong again. NBA American fans keep says they will "dominate" and "destroy" the "weak YMCA minor Euroleague"
Guess now you fools can know how much better Euroleague is than you idiots want admit.
Brandon Jennings
ohh... he's like 19. who gives a . He wouldn't play a minute in the NBA right now. He would be a d-leaguer averaging 15 a game.
Brandon Jennings, the #1 overall prospect for the 2008 class. Was committed to the university of Arizona, didn't make the grades, but chose to play in Europe before such came out.
He's around 6-foot, so he's shorter, and he is very skinny, but he's lightning quick and is devastating off te dribble. Is a streak shooter now, but has shown the ability to hit from anywhere on the floor.
Id much more of the Iverson-type of PG than Paul-type, and had several comparisons to Kenny Anderson as a high schooler.
He probably wouldn't be getting a ton of time in the NBA, but he would have been drafted in the first round, may have gone lottery as a prep star, and would most certainly NOT be in the d-league because the NBA was not an option, but because the team drafting him may have sent him there to gain experience.
He's in this thread because he's the first prep star to go the Euro route to the NBA rather than the collegiate/prep school route since the NBA age minimum, and may be the first high ranked prep to sign with Europe ever.
I know him. Oak Hill? I'll make a judgement when I see him against real compe ion.
Yeah, Oak Hill... Originally from Compton.
Obviously he has yet to face NBA compe ion, but he owned pretty much every comer as a high school player, and faced the toughest compe ion possible while going to Oak Hill.
The kid has amazing drive too. He lost like one state championship tournament or AAU tournament as a prep, while competing in a handful or more each year.
who gives a about this crap?
now if it had something about Gist
He does not play in Euroleague moron. And also this is not the Spurs only section. Beside he is not consider as important to NBA as these other two.
Brandon Jennings will be back playing in the USA next year.
He'll probably be a Top5 pick in the 2009 NBA draft.

Rockets fans and SamFisher can STFU I thought they were supposed to dominate and average 50 points over all the "Euro scrubs" you stupid fuking idiots and shut the up with your crap. I am still wait for this "domination over Euro scrubs" "by all American NBA players" to happen.
And fans in this forum make similar re like comments that "Childress will be Michael Jordan of Greece" and "Jennings will average 25 and 10 against those Euro minor leaguers"
Once again your basketball "knowledge" is prove as nothing but arrogance and nonsense.
