I love Bruce, but he should be a bench player at this age..perfect role for him..
Bowen shut down Miller at the end. he did his job.

I'm still wondering who the all star small forward they passed on to keep Bowen. Hairston shouldve stAyed instead of farmer because IMO farmer is worthless
tpark hates on the one guy who solely gave you two les alone
It's amazing that you still can see what you type, with your head so deep in "mans" butt.
Yup, still pissed.
I guess anybody who disagrees with you are all 'sheep', even when they disagree with whatever the 'brains' of ST say as well:
Don't panic, breathe normally.
Kinda hard to breathe when somebody's misguided raging against the machine is making you![]()
dude the bottomline is the spurs are ing cheapskates and that is that.
I'm not ready to say Bowen is done, when just last spring he was still playing at a high level. He has lost a step for sure, but hopefully he could get back to 2007 Finals form if needed. For all we know he isn't 100% or he is just in a funk.
Something that is confusing-- when watching the Spurs their problems at the offensive end jump out. After Parker, Duncan and Mason it is bleak. many fans are saying they need to add scoring to the lineup somehow. But thye Spurs team defensive PER is one one of the worst in the NBA, while their offensive numbers are actually good. (even though it is all Duncan and Parker)
So the queston is --are the Spurs' problems more on the offensive or defensive end of the court? If their defense is the problem, they need Bowen playing more.
Thomas has also been terrible.
As pleased as i was to see Bowen come out top towards the end there with Mike Miller, deep down i still think he struggled to contain him like we all used to seeing. There were times he reacted late once Miller was able to pass him and was a step or two behind when chasing him around screens. It's just not the Bowen standard we have all become accustomed to. Where he did look good was the postion D he put when Miller was receiving the ball as in bodying him up and giving him not much space to maneuver.
Im clinging to the hope that Bruce is really trying to pace himself this season.

And you have even bigger problem, asshole is probably tight.

Because the Spurs offense is still struggling, it would be wise for Pop to wean himself from his loyalties and consider different lineup changes - like this one.
Ah, personal insults, the last defense of the truly argumentless.![]()
You got that? I'm impressed.
