We've all heard that Parker will be out four weeks. Ginobili isn't likely to return before then either.

What will our record be the next 15 games without them?

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/teams/schedule?team=sas

Sadly, I have to say 5-10.

Knicks, Grizz, Nuggets and Clippers are much improved. There aren't many pushover teams this year like there was in the past.

It's not going to be pretty at all.

I say they go 6-9. A few cake teams that they can beat even without Ginobli and Parker. I say they get past MEM and LAC...not easily but they'll pull it out.

Yeah, this is gonna be pretty nasty. Aside from Duncan and Mason, we're gonna need big production from the rest of the guys. Ime's capable of putting up around 16 but I'm not sure how the others will fair. We'll just have to wait and see I suppose

Damn, so even the games the Spurs win will be counted as losses, too?

I don't think it's that - I think we just double up on losses some nights.

Let's see, w/out Manu + Parker it's not gonna be pretty:

    November:

Tue 11 vs New York W
    Wed 12 @ Milwaukee L
    Fri 14 vs Houston L
    Sun 16 @ Sacramento L
    Mon 17 @ LA Clippers L
    Wed 19 vs Denver L
    Fri 21 vs Utah L
    Mon 24 @ Memphis L
    Wed 26 vs Chicago W
    Fri 28 vs Memphis W
    Sat 29 @ Houston L

    December:

    Tue 02 vs Detroit L
    Thu 04 @ Denver L
Sat 06 vs Golden State W
    Tue 09 @ Dallas W

    5-10
Manu and Parker are back for the Dallas game and we win.

Spurs will probably win a couple of games they weren't expected to, giving fans a false sense of optimism, and then come back to earth by losing a few games they shouldn't have.

    4-11

Ehh...we could be playing UTEP and have a tough time right now. This group that's playing is just going to have to pull together, guys stepping up who haven't before or in a long time, and play to win. There's enough talent here to win a few of those games, it's just a matter of Pop finding combinations that work and the guys believing they can win without Parker and Ginobili. I'll call it 6-9 without Parker, Ginobili if they both miss 15 games. That would leave the team at 7-13. If it ends up taking 52 wins to make the playoffs in the West that would translate into a 45-17 completion to the season, which is possible. If the team can't do that they're better off getting a lottery pick anyway.

If Pop starts Farmer/Mason in place of Finley and limits finleys minutes by alot i know we can be competetive with most bad teams right now and get some wins. Finley is contributing absolutely nothing right now. And i was a finley apologetic last year but i have just given up on the guy.
