do you really need a link?? this is Chavez we are talking about.
He mentioned in the past, he will send troops to Bolivia if the president there is taken down.
He is completely nuts
No, because I take nothing at face value or at someone's word....not even about known power-mongering war criminals.
See hater, was that so hard? The le made me think that if HE lost an election that he would send tanks. Thanks to CD, I was able to read the article and see that he isn't even up for election this year. Not only that, but that he has made similar threats before and has not followed through on one of them.
true.
my point was, he says a crazy thing everyday. hard to keep up. we'd need a daily link for this guy![]()
Chavez *IS* nuts. There's a reason I was LOL when people compared Obama to him. And Rosales already told him that if he's going to put the tanks on the street, he better get them out already, because he's all talk and no walk.
Say what you want about Bush and our Democratic system (and trust me I am in the upper echelon of Bush critics), but at least he seems to be trying to work with the new admin and the transfer of power is smooth (at least at this point). It is almost like he needed a mighty big jolt such as the past year and a half to start working on his 2000 campaign pledge of "compassionate conservatism." I think that had he governed in the same way over the past 8 years, he would have had much better results. I hope that my choice of Obama will continue such eloquence with the opposing party. It is almost like had he surrounded himself with different people, he would have been more successful. I still say that he seems like he would be a fun guy to sit down and have a beer with, but with that said, I never have thought that to be a good trait for a President to have. I much prefer the arugala (SP?) chomping, champagne sipping elitists (I honestly don't care what they eat, as long as they are educationally elite), for the sole reason that I have the personal belief that the presidency is an elite position and therefore should be held by the elite.
