I'd love the Hawks chances if they had Josh Smith. But without him, I don't think they can compete with the Celtics.
unless al horford shows up as a beast again.
To be honest, I haven't figured out the weakness of the Hawks yet. Years of lottery picks have given them a very solid team. Only knock has been age but even that seems to be much less of an issue. Lazy defense was another problem of theirs last year which they seem to have resolved.
Even with J Smooth out, they could beat the Celtics if everybody steps up. However, I think it's very unlikely...especially in Boston where they've gotten waxed. And believe me, I'd like nothing better than another Celtics loss.

You and me both. I have to watch this game on mute otherwise i'll kill myself. Watching the Celtics this year just makes me want to kick Joe D for the stupid trade he made.

Horford's nothing but a squat little foul machine, Pachulia's a bigger ugly foul machine, and Josh Smith is a 3, not a 4, and inefficient wherever.
