You're still not getting it. He could be perfectly happy with the choices he has for the position and still go after Hillary. You're making up. There are obvious reasons that he would go after Hillary for the position and they revolve around a republican president he constantly points out as one of his role models. Its all over the news so this you should be able to figure out easily.

Another former rival, Edwin Stanton -- who once called Lincoln a "long armed ape" -- became secretary of war.
"That has to be the approach that one takes," Obama said, "whether it's vice president or cabinet, whoever. And by the way that does not exclude Republicans either. You know my at ude is that whoever is the best person for the job is the person I want. ... You know, if I really thought that John McCain was the absolute best person for the Department of the Homeland Security, I would put him in there."
Just for the record, I'm not thrilled with the thought of Clinton in that position. She was a war supporter and she's not exactly been great with Iran comments but I just think its funny when people try to spin this for something other than what it is. Especially when its idiots like Viva who when you ask them for a link they bumble around like the idiots they are.

John Kerry would make a very good Sec of State. He's got all the credentials....plus he speaks French. It seems fitting that this position is held by someone who speaks at least one other language.

i read that gore said he was uninterested in a supposed "global warming czar" position that's being talked about in the obama camp. oh and edwards shouldn't even bother with running for any office of any kind for awhile.

Looks like it is between Richardson and Clinton for that SOS job. Kerry's name has seemed to have vanished from the picture. Clinton would be a bad idea imo. And I'm not just saying that because I like Richardson. Alot of voters want complete change. Adding Clinton to that position would piss off alot of people including myself. Let her stay in the senate.
