I'm in zip 79606, have Directv, and cannot see games unless they are on ESPN. It will show that I'm going to get it on one of the Fox networks, I'll get the pre-game, and then it goes off when the game comes on - I'm 200 miles north of San Antonio - why are they blacked out here???

Is league pass my only option? Gets old listening to it on the computer...

    Thanks guys!

If you're that far north of SA, you're more than likely in Mavericks territory - so you are correctly being blacked out. League Pass would be your only on tv option.

    Buyer Beware:

If the programming shows that you should get the Spurs game and it ends up being blacked out you might also get blacked out on League Pass. You need to check real closely.

I live in Corpus and the Spurs would constantly show up on the programming only to be blacked out. I got League Pass and LP blacked it out as well stating that if it was scheduled to air on local TV it wouldn't air on League Pass.

Also if the person who decided the programming decides to show that the Spurs game will be aired only to change to programming to some college game or other show at the last minute you will also be blacked out on League Pass.

This happened to me 6 times last year. Spurs were to be on FS SW and at the last minute they decided to air UT basketball. I ended up being blacked out on league Pass due to FS SW stating that it would be aired locally.

I live in Waco and I get all spurs games on league pass, so you'll be fine.

I didn't realize he was that far north. I should have checked the zip code.

You'll have no problem with league pass or shouldn't. I would still contact league pass to see about programming errors and how they are handled since your programming shows Spurs games on the schedule. You'd hate to have it blacked out due to local programming saying that its going to air when it doesn't.

That is exactly what causes league pass blackouts.

I have had this problem too. It has only happened to me a few times...but it is definitely irritating when it does.
