Game ball to Barber and Offensive Line.
Extra game ball to Ratliff and props to secondary for not getting toasted once.
Props to Portis....dude had to be hurting and he still played well, IMO.

Big difference with Newman back.
That was a momenter changer. It was the correct call though.
Maybe but Washington still had many chances to win.
That draw play on 3rd and long when Campbell took off for like 20 yards or something was impressive.
The only threat in the NFC to the NY Giants are the Cowboys. 6-4 or not, they matchup quite well with them. the Giants said the playoff game that had them really believing was that win in Dallas.
The Skins are in trouble. They are already falling apart. I saw it coming especially after they started off 6-2. They either start off bad and finish strong or it flip flops. As for the Cowboys, they should be 8-4 before their rough December. I personally see this team getting better as the weeks go on. This win could do alot of good for them in the long run.
Of course the Skins are in trouble. Their MVP is running on one leg.
that's the second game in a row where washington had an opportunity to really really put the foot on the gas early, but let the opponent stay in the game, then folded down the stretch (albeit much earlier folding against the steelers).
it just goes down to the law of averages that the more games you let be decided in the final 5 minutes, the more likely you are to lose as many as you win.
Good win for the Cowboys, they needed it bad.
for forgetting to put Barber back in my fantasy lineup. At least I had MJD in there today.
kosier made a of a difference. or a qb who can sidestep or step up in the pocket. anyways, thanks bigzax!![]()
You get two turnovers and no points off of them against a team that's moving the ball and you're probably not going to win.
Rock Cartwright made an idiotic play. The ball was dead, all he had to do was run down and grab it. Instead, he made the football equivalent of sliding into first base--phony hustle which cost the team.
He also meathanded the second half kickoff out of bounds. I nominated him for Cowboys special teams MVP.
As for that punt, I'm not sure he even needed to touch it. It looked to me at the time like it was almost stopped when he got to it.
yeah, bout time
damn reverse mojo didn't come through...
good win for dallas.
you run, you stop the run, you win.
Weirdest rivalry in football. The team that's 'supposed to win' almost never does.
As bad as the Boys started the game they never looked as pathetic as Washington did. Dallas was handing them the game from the start & the Skins F'd it up like only they can. Way to go DC! Can u say OVERRATED!?!?!?
Now thats ironic coming from a Cowboys fan.
?
I bet the Cowboys at -2, did the line change before kickoff or something?
I got lucky that I even won that game. From what I read before kickoff, Portis and Betts were supposed to be out. I was not very excited seeing them take the field after I dropped 250 on that game.
Betting lines are about how people are betting, not about who people that don't bet think is going to win. I was referring to the rivalry in general and not betting, but then I heard that Betts was playing on Saturday and knew Portis was going to start well before kickoff, so I appear to be getting better info than you are.
Since the Cowboys have looked awful and were all but dead and buried, it's not surprising that they won the game.
I'll ask you for info next time because I was totally taken by surprise when those two took the field.
The newspapers reported Betts was starting on Friday, and then the radio station that carries the Cowboys game had the info on Portis sometime during the afternoon.
