Garnett Suspended For Knicks' Game

Kevin Garnett of the Boston Celtics has been suspended one game without pay for striking Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut in the face. In addition, Bogut’s Foul that was committed on Garnett has been upgraded to a Flagrant Foul Penalty One and he has been fined, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.
The incident occurred with 3:58 remaining in the fourth period of the Celtics 102-97 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday, November 15, at the Bradley Center.
Garnett will serve his suspension tomorrow when the Celtics host the New York Knicks at TD Banknorth Garden.

I think the NBA suspended him so that they could sweep the fact that Bogut shouldn't have been ejected under the rug.
that is exactly what it is, Garnett didn't even get ejected from the game, and now he's suspended. Lets hope the Cs are playing a good team

He's been owned by more than just those three guys. Anthony Peeler a few years back in the Kings-Wolves series comes to mind.
I have a feeling this means Shaq will get suspended as well. Which is likely to happen and its fine. But I think Garnett getting suspended is overkill. A fine would have suffice. I still don't understand how Droopy eyes from Houston did not get a suspension. But lucky for the Celtics they got the Knicks and D'Antoni at the Garden.
