He did good considering he played more tonight with the Spurs then he's practiced with them.
Minimum, non guaranteed.
Dakota regains their rights if the Spurs waive him. As long as he's on the Spurs roster, they can send him to Austin.

Another thing that's surely been mentioned is the fact that from the end of camp to now he hasn't been playing real basketball, so while he's not out of physical condition, he's likely out of game shape.
cool, thanks for the help!![]()
Can anyone say Steve Kerr? Kerr probably couldn't have defended two-thirds of the posters in Spurstalk off the dribble.
Pop just wants to make sure we have this year's version of Kerr handy at the end of the bench to chuck in a couple of late playoff threes.
Kerr is just as much Ahearn as Farmer is Sjax, which means not really at all yet.
Also, Kerr played excellent defense while making those big shots vs. Dallas.
I was referring to their equally poor lateral movement. I do remember Kerr working pretty hard on defense in that game, but he was never a defender. If he could defend, with his shooting ability, Pop would have given him more than desperation spot minutes.
Ahearn's just around until Parker gets back and the PG rotation is set at 3.
Hopefully he can hit some shots and provide an occassional spark until then.
Not much else to discuss here.
