TV hero MacGyver has beaten Buffy The Vampire Slayer and 24's Jack Bauer to the top of a new TV action heroes poll.
The role, which Richard Dean Anderson played for seven years from 1985, has topped the new countdown in TV Guide.
Also making the top 10 are Tom Selleck's Magnum, P.I., Xena: Warrior Princess and Alias heroine Sydney Bristow.
The top five is:
1. MacGyver
2. Buffy The Vampire Slayer
3. Jack Bauer (24)
4. Sydney Bristow (Alias)
5. Magnum P.I.

You could give a whole lot superlatives to MacGyver, but against guys like Jack Bauer "Toughest" is not one of them.
Any list withouth Micheal Scott or Dwight Schrute is a weak list.
If this is toughest guy why are there female characters on there.......LAME!! Jack is the number 1 bad ass always and forever and we will see more this sunday!!

It is a tossup between Sarah Connor and Sayid in my mind.
She is a bad but she gets slapped a lot and that one guy would have killed her if John hadnt gone ape on him so I say NO GIRLS!!
