its the biggest pile of BS I have ever heard from the UFC...While the full details are a little murky at this time, Fitch was apparently approached about the issue when he turned in his signed bout agreement to fight Akihiro Gono at UFC 94: "St. Pierre vs. Penn 2″ on January 31. And when he and his representatives attempted to negotiate the video game deal it was all or nothing.
He didn’t sign it and was terminated shortly therefafter.
All i can say is if the end result is Fitch getting cut, it is just pathetic.. What could have happened that was so bad, they just handed him his walking papers? He's a top 5 170 pd fighter.. GSP or BJ Penn could tell the UFC "I'm not not signing and you can kiss my ass" and they aren't getting cut.. As time goes on, the UFC just to me seems to only treat Superstars with any respect...and I am betting more details will come out about this...just wait and see.

Not that its justified...but what sport or walk of life is not like that when there is money to be had? Its just the way it is and it sucks.
And if true, it illustrates how horrible it is to an extent that the UFC has no compe on. This at ude stinks of "We are the only game in town you can make a conistant pay-day so you'll come crawling back and when you do, we'll low-ball the out of you, so just sign the deal and shut-up"..
