Yep I went off in the game thread.
There was a sequence were Tim got the hacked out of him and knocked down I think, then down the other end a play or two later a Spur barely grazed the arm of a Nuggets player and they got an AND1 call.
I only watched the 1st half, and noticed a few bad calls, 1 where a nugget poked the ball out of bounds and they awarded the nuggets the ball, also Bonner getting shoved in the back on a free throw by Nene and no call. Bonner just does not get much respect from the referees, which is horse . If I have time and inclination I will do a full analysis of the calls, but it appeared to me that Popovich's lack of timely subs utions was the main reason the spurs got into a big hole in the 1st half.

classless... wtf was he doing playing all starters when we had all scrubs? maybe his bench was too tired from the night before...![]()
Yeah...it seemed like there was a lot of ticky tack calls. Then KMart comes over Bonner's back for a rebound...and no call. The refs were very inconsistent.
As some others have said, this was not really surprising. The Nuggets are playing like a completely different team with Billups and could actually make some noise in the West this year. Games like this will come where we just don't have the weapons. You can only play so much defense. Lets put it behind us and get ready for the Jazz.
They won by ten. Maybe it was a good idea. The way the Spurs have been closing out on teams I'd have done the same thing.
we didnt run up the score at all.. in fact you guys won the 4th pretty well. stop looking for things to whine about.
wow, i never thought id see the day when a spurs fan complained about the calls - i guess this is what happens when you get used to years of preferential treatment from the refs.
no preferential treatment...that's an outsiders pov...
anyone remember the lakers series last year when the refs all but ensured a lakers celts final?
I never hate on Vaughn.
But get him the F off the team. That was hard to watch.
Wow, the Spurs scrubs own the Denver scrubs, big deal dumbass. If the lead got to around ten, then he should've put in the starters. And winning 1 quarter is good if your last name is D'Antoni, otherwise who gives a .
