Well its being reported that the Knicks are waiting on word from the Clips to trade Z-Bo for Thomas and Mobley

The Knicks are working on a separate deal from their trade with Golden State, which would send Zach Randolph to the Los Angeles Clippers, possibly for Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley.
It is believed that Donnie Walsh is ready to make that deal but is awaiting confirmation from the Clippers, who pursued Randolph last summer

and Zach Randolph helps this team out immensely on offense, but our defense is going to stay bad.
Also depends on how motivated he is. If he gives us 100%, we're contenders again.
Randolph can't be any worse than Bass or Diop on defense.

I love this trade for the Mavs...Clips have inquired about Z-Bo and Knicks want cap relief for 2010 in Bass, Stack and Tim Thomas. Mavs get Kaman...Brilliant. Now all that has to be done is move Diop or Damp

looking at the money involved, there's no way in the Mavs get Randolph, unless a 3rd team is involved (clippers?).

Randolph sucks anyways. Maybe something better is out there. Like a good shooting guard.
Rockets are desparate for a backup Center. I look for them to ship Dorsey to the D-League. Perhaps dump some salary to make room for a big. I expect Morey to pull the trigger on a deal like this soon.
