I think playing with Duncan made Hill think too much about getting him the ball, instead of playing basketball. With the second unit, he was more ready to take charge and assert himself and run the team.
let's thank pop for targeting this guy. i knew he would succeed after he learned the system. but...damn, i didn't think he would be balling like a vet this fast!!! TP is a of a mentor. TP on the first team and Hill on the second team are going to put all kinds of pressure on defenses. if we can find a capable big to hold down the center spot for the second team, we're going to be pretty good. the injuries to manu and TP suck but it's allowing the new guys to get valuable playing time.
