Actually, now that I think about it, that's actually what it is.

You people talking playoffs are not thinking fourth dimensionally. Realistically, we would end up playing the Lakers far before the WCF if it ever came to that.

20 percentage points ain't peanuts...especially when you're shooting as much as Mason is/will.

If he ends up near 50% I'd be ecstatic.

I want lakers in the first round

spurs will have to beat them anyone to win it all
might as well play them early

early the schedule also would favor the spurs
they would not play every other day

Maggete's ability to get to the line is the reason he scores as many points as he does, and as a Spur, he wouldn't get to the line, so as a Spur, Mason>>>>Maggette.

Since I never get to see the games, I was wondering how Hill and Mason are playing defense? Obviously its looking like they can score.

When we go to the playoffs this year, Roger Mason will fill the role Michael Finley once had. This guy is clutch!

Retrospectively, would have Splitter come, this could have been a uvan offseason for the spurs.

    Back-up PG : check
    4th scorer : check
    talented big : check

Hopefully, the "savior" will help forgetting Tiago.

Are you saying the refs don't call as many fouls for the spurs as they do other teams?

I thought Duncan got a few friendly calls going his way against the Jazz, but then again, it was the Jazz. Not like say, the Lakers or some other Stern preferred team.

At least we don't have to see the "Spurs FO is full of morons" threads for at least a little awhile.

Mason has been A LOT better than I could have imagined.

Adding Hill and Mason to the mix is really going to pay off this year.

I just hope Ian can get well and take some minutes away from the older bigs.

Off subject, but if the world economy keeps tanking and people quit buying Tau toilets, can the Spurs realistically get Mr. Splitter in 2010? It just seems like a time waste (outside of the money of course) to play in a 2nd tier league for Eurocups for your entire BBall career. Maybe some of that big cap space could go to TS if Mr. Stern figures out that salary cap adjustments might be needed to assist his member teams in acquiring talent.

Agreed.I been watching him for a while in washington and when we got em I was thrilled.I am about the only spurs fan in connecticut so I take a beating when we pick up bums and money proved me right.
