Twilight series is a love story. That's it. All there is to it. It had potential and was ruined by the last (and latest) installment. It's romance. It's for teeny bopper girls.

Harry Potter is for everyone, to begin with.... and the depth of the story is unmatched by any modern youth/young adult series.

The only people that would believe that Twilight is the new Harry Potter is someone that just watches movies or gets their entertainment news from MTV.

Ugh. Agreed. I was dragged there by a friend of mine while I wanted to see Role Models (in a PAINFUL twist of irony, after purchasing the Twilight tix, we pass by a RM poster and she shouts "OH MY GOD! I wanna see that! It looks SO funny!" Sigh)

But yeah, the first glimpse we get of this Edward cat, about 100 tween girls SCREAM like they're at a ing N'Sync concert, and I die a bit inside.

I surmised that this movie was going the be the gayest thing on earth when I saw the trailer for it, and it featured "vampires" walking around during the day and being pussies about drinking blood. And the typical ty music you find in all those WB or CW or whatever shows.
