matt ryan i am impressed on how well he is playing this season
Jamarcuss Russel
Matt Ryan
Jay Cutler
Trent Edwards
Jason Cambell
Brady Quinn
I was actually gonna put him, and Rodgers, but forgot to add two extra spots.
It was a tough choice for me not to pick Matt Ryan due to his natural ability and understanding of the Qb position, but I picked Jay Cutler. All he needs is to be consistent, and he'll be a top 5 maybe top 3 QB.
ryan's got a good running game, and what seems to be a good o-line. hard not to go with that.
Brady Quinn played with a broken hand and only threw 2 INT's...who else on that list would even play, let alone only throw 2 picks?
Answer: Nobody they are all pussies
Thought it was a broken finger your next post will have him playing with a broken arm.![]()
Trent Edwards has more poise than any of these pussies. Dont let the MNF game fool you.
Matt Ryan and Jason Cambell both will be very good, but I don't know if they will ever be great.
I think Russell and Cutler both have the skills and talent to be the best out of all these. Cutler seems to be doing fairly well. Russell is simply in a terrible situation right now and it will be interesting to see how he develops. But for basically a rookie QB, I'm happy with him. He may not be doing much, but at least he's not out there just chucking picks left and right either. And considering how dysfunctional that team currently is, I think he is doing a fantastic job for such a young QB, all aspects considered.
Matt Ryan, easily...but it's a travesty that Matt Cassell didn't even make the list.
was that the game where Brady Quinn beat him with a broken arm?
No brainer: Jay Cutler has already proven himself.
strange list
yeah proven himself to be mediocre
he's 3rd in passing yardage and tied for 5th with P Manning with 19 TDs in the NFL.
yeah, what a loser.
The Broncos throw as much as any other team in the NFL.
that doesn't mean anything to me. Jay Cutler is the next Bubby Brister
Marino and Fouts threw for a chitload and how many SBs did they win? Heck combined they only got to one. Moon threw for an assload and never got to one. Heck, if Peyton's D hadn't decided to make one of the greatest defensive stretches in NFL playoff history a few years back (for a team that was previously poor on D - don't have a cow, Bears/Giants/Ravens fans) Peyton wouldn't have been to one yet, either.
Passing #s simply means you can pass, not that you are extremely successful.
how about the 3 leading up to it?
Guess you didn't understand what I meant. Cutler's stats are obviously gonna be that high when the Broncos throw 80% of the time, and the defense allows the other team to score that fast.
I completely agree with this. Russell will get substantially better if the team around him can figure out because he's freakishly gifted.
Cutler is doing well above average right now even when the opposing teams know that he's going to be passing.
The argument that his numbers will be high because they pass 80% of the time goes both ways because it means the defenses know he's passing 80% of the time.
Cutler's a lot better than I ever expected him to be, but he's still a loser. Cutler's been on nothing but mediocre-to-bad teams despite putting up nice numbers.
Unlike Vince Young, who is a winner no matter what. Whether he's dominating in college, kicking ass as a rookie, sucking ass in his second pro year, or riding the pine in his third....his teams always win.
