Patsos and Knight are two totally different scenarios.

There is no questioning Knight's coaching ability as 3 les will back that up.
He got fired from IU because he was a physical bully.

As far as we know, Patsos has never harmed anyone and might be the nicest guy around. What he should be fired for is for concocting an idiotic basketball scheme that he admitted to wanting nothing more than just to be remembered.

True but I also know of some great coaches who haven't had great winning seasons but have produced great winning adults.
And yes, I agree his decision was self centered.

Back in my single days I'd get double teamed by the ladies all the time. Too bad I wasn't a starter.

I never got double team by the ladies because I made them fight to the death for me. So there was only one girl left at a time, but you know you work with what God gave you.

well, after looking at his resume, he has some pretty solid credentials, and has led them to 3 straight winning seasons for the first time in several decades.

After further review, I don't think he should get fired, but he should get reprimanded for his comments after the game, and he deserved every one of the boos he got from the crowd.
