Bull . Farmar is over rated as most Laker benchies are.
Jordan Farmar is one of the better back up points in the league. Hes not a Hall of Famer, but hes pretty good.

He's got so much potential, but he needs to be traded because Vinny's not playing him.

In fact, if we can get him cheap, bring him here! Bonner for Ty.

Hey-- that's a pretty good Front Office that the Spurs have, isn't it?
We beat the Bulls, let's not lose our minds.

Yes, we have a good FO, but that doesn't mean they haven't monumentally ed up a bunch of their moves in recent years, inlcuding most of their picks.

Hill is the best Spur's draft pick sine TP, undoubtedly.

I'll take Hill. You can have Farmar, since you seem to love his ass. Hill's better.

    Bonner?

that would mean having to keep Ahearn coz isn't there a rule that every team should have its own resident red head?

    Not to ruin the parade

Oberto 1 rebound in 15 minutes
Scola 18 rebounds in 35 minutes
    Ouch. Truth hurts.

^^ all that matters is the win. Scola, let him rot in Houston with his 182374398746 rebounds per game!

But wait Oberto can pass and play off Duncan.

    Oberto is worthless.
Problem is, Troy Murphy (not the greatest of scoring Power Forwards) had 21 points and 14 points, pretty much nullifying Scola's output. And they lost.

If it was Oberto guarding him it would have been 21 points and 14 boards versus likely 2 points and 3 boards in the same amount of minutes.

Judging from the posts here, Hill played really well again and it's consistent with what I heard here about him in previous threads.

If I remember correctly, I saw him play when the Spurs were on tv (ESPN), but that was my only chance to see him.

Can't wait to see him again.

    Sounds like a great find.

    Good Win, Spurs!!

Now, if we can just get Mahinmi in and Parker back, then we'll be compe ive with anybody.

We won't get a good seeding, but we've won before without being top seed.

    Go Spurs!

    Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm thankful Obama won and Bush will only be President about two more months!

Numbers don't matter, wins do. Otherwise, Marbury would be first team All NBA.

    Hill >> Farmar.

    No doubt.

But Farmar is a quality back up PG. I never said he was better than George.

    Spurs run past the Bulls
    By Jeff McDonald

Manu Ginobili bounced off a screen early in the Spurs' 98-88 victory over Chicago on Wednesday, saw his friend and countryman Fabricio Oberto rolling open to the basket, and unleashed a bounce pass he had thrown approximately 6 billion times before.

The ball skipped directly to the Bulls' Drew Gooden. Turnover.

On his way back from ankle surgery, Ginobili figured there would be moments like this.

Later in the game, Ginobili squirmed along the baseline, playing tightrope with the out-of-bounds line, before somehow contorting to the other side of the rim, completing a reverse layup past Aaron Gray.

With Ginobili back in the fray, the Spurs knew there would be moments like this, too.

Making his AT&T Center debut after missing the first 12 games of the season, Ginobili scored 15 points, providing the second-half spark as the Spurs (8-6) came away with their sixth victory in seven games.

Ben Gordon had 23 points to lead the Bulls (7-9).

Tim Duncan scored 18 of his team-high 21 points in the first half, making the plays to help the Spurs overcome a sloppy start. When it came time to take the game, Ginobili, in his second game of the season, made the plays to put the Spurs over the top.

Not long after his twisting reverse past Gray, he split defenders and raced past Gray for another layup (Side note: Estimates of how many of the Spurs' points Wednesday were finished with Gray flailing helpless nearby will start conservatively at 50.)

Moments later, Ginobili, appearing cornered on a drive left, but hooked a line-drive pass to Ime Udoka in the corner. Udoka, who seconds earlier had made his first 3-pointer since Nov. 11 to tie game at 69, buried another try to put Spurs ahead by three.

    They wouldn't trail again.

When was the last time the Spurs went into the 4th with a slim lead in a tight game and Manu never sees the floor again while Tim only does for a short stint late in the game? And the Spurs win by double digits going away? I can't remember ever seeing that before tonight, and if Mason and Hill can perform like this the big 3 should be getting some serious rest during the regular season while the wins pile up. The good news is that Parker should be coming back around the time Hill will hit the rookie wall a bit, and that can help get Hill some rest to get his second wind.

Big, important, piece. The more rest, with wins, the better they'll all be come Spring. I like the way things are shaping up.
