ducks is starting to reach Spursdynasty's legendary status.
He's not Kevin McHale, but he had 9 more points and 1 more rebound than Oberto and Thomas combined in 5 less minutes of play.
He wasn't coming to the Spurs to replace Duncan. He didn't have to anyways. But he's UNDENIABLY a lot better than Oberto or Thomas.
There aren't any offensive rebounds to be had when everything the team is throwing up is going in. As far as defensive rebounds, it was Artest and Head leading the way which indicates long range shots by the Spurs with the ball bouncing back out.
That's funny, because when he first came here he said he was kinda disapointed he wasn't going to be able to play with his friends and was excited when the Spurs drafted him.
If that's really true and RC truly emailed him about his rebounding in euro play then RC is a dumbass.....sorry.
First of all Scola isn't soft, his defense has improved since his rookie year, but none the less....this sentence makes me LMAO......I mean it's not like Oberto strikes fear in the eyes of his opponent with his "watch out or I'll flop and fall down" defense (seriously that's all the guy does..I laugh my ass off when the refs don't call it and Yao just looks at him like a idiot then puts up a easy basket). I mean since when the did Oberto become Ben Wallace of 2004?

in a combined 39 minutes of play per game between Oberto and Thomas, they are averaging just 7 rpg...
In only 27 minutes per game (a full damn quarter less than the above two players) Scola is averaging 7.6 rpg... He's out boarding two of your main bigs in a full damn quarter less per game and you want to rag on his rebounding.

RC burned all bridges to Scola when he lied about Scola's buyout to the local press to appease fans. As you saw, it took no time at all for the Rockets to agree to a buyout and a contract that is less than Bonner's. Kerr worked out a buy out for Goran, too, from TAU.
