Yeah but other players have done worst.
I didn't think the smoking was a big deal, just that they were stupid enough to smoke at the NBA rookie camp where they go over things such as the anti-drug policy.

Young kids with money what do you expect. Hopefully they learned thier lesson and realized how lucky they are Stern did not hand them a suspension.

Give Miami credit though they came in and won a game they had no business winning.
I figured a suns fan would know that every game phoenix wins without nash is a miracle. I just checked the web and thought "Oh crap!!!", then found out nash didn't play. This team is completely lost without him.
Look at it this way... If nash was out in 2006 and Amare was healthy. Do you think they would have made the WCF?
The Suns winning against the Spurs or the Lakers w/o Nash will indeed be a miracle. But they should have beaten Miami even without Nash. But Miami came in and jumped on them Wade was incredible. And know I don't think they make it to the WCF in 06 without Steve. They probably don't make the playoffs if Nash is out long term with injuries.
Porter hasn't figured out the offense quite yet, but the Suns have always sucked balls without Nash. We struggled against the Kings earlier this year without him, as well. He still drives our offense, even if it goes through Shaq a lot of the time.
Regardless, Suns didn't play good D tonight, and Amare Stoudemire was a piece of --which has been a pretty terrifying theme ever since he dropped 49 on the Pacers.
We still have the highest FG% in the league, I believe, and by a wide margin.
I hope they figure things out soon. Changing coaches and bringing in shaq is a lot and it my view, it usually takes a year to adjust making this season more of an extended practice. Perhaps they'll figure it out by playoff time, but the damage will be poor seeding in the playoff standings.
I've seen them try to play some defense. But so far it mostly looks like the same defense with a slower offense. I'm sure amare rotated on D once or twice, but that's about it.
Suns fans: what do you think of the play of Sean Singletary so far?

He ing sucks, kid.
Dragic has a much higher ceiling. Singletary has a tendency to stall the offense with ineffective passing and overdribbling. He's got a decent jumpshot, but he's not consistent enough.
I hope Porter brings Goran back soon.
