Anywho, Mavs stagnation in halfcourt was once again vexing. With no slashers or low post scorers, it's not surprising that we struggle to get open looks at times.
And what about fast break opportunities? For one, we're not good at forcing turnovers... and for two, I noticed a few times when those situations presented themselves tonight, we stagnated due to our team's lack of athleticism and passers.
Dirk was 10/28 tonight, but I don't have a problem. Bad shooting nights happen. We all wanted him to take more shots, right?
Kidd didn't score tonight, frustrating. Shot just didn't fall, oh well.
Terry played great
The bench was HUGE tonight... I think we had 60 points.
Shawne Williams finally showed some offense.
The Clippers were shooting over 50% late into the game, and although I felt our defense was poor at times, I think in part it was just a hot shooting night for the Clippers... Novak and Gordon making 3's? Seriously? (Even though Novak's a good shooter)... Randolph hitting a jumper w/ Bass all up in his grill? Meh.
Win is a win. Let's keep it going against Phoenix though or else the thrill of tonight was all for not.

Took care of business. Unfortunately they looked like crap most of the night. But good teams can look like crap all night and still win.
Mavs still haven't proven anything....Thursday will be their next chance to make a real statement.
