alot of them are UNPAID. They work in exchange for the city sponsoring them getting a law enforcement license so thet can work in bigger departments. I know one who worked as a Leon Valley cop during the day part time and front desk at a hotel by night. He told me a story about how one time he jumped out of his car and left it running and in drive. It ran over some shrubs and a mailbox.
