Tony probably has a chance to be there but Manu doesn't.
tony is the third best scorer per 48 minutes behind Wade and Lebron and before Kobe (tony is 10th in ppg) and 5th in Hollinger PER. his low "minutes per game" doesn't help his stats but if SA is well ranked, he should be there.

a little too soon anyway, especially for manu. in order to have three players there, we would have to win 90 % of our games till the vote.

Once Tony gets back in sync, he will be there. Nash isn't playing as well as years b4, and Deron and Paul are playing around the same level as Tony, if not lower. Unless the fans vote Nash in and screws i up, I say he is a lock. He was on the verge of being THE point guard in the league b4 he got hurt.

I hate the ASG. It's four days of hype, glam, and bad basketball. I'd much rather see Manu or Tony make one of the three All NBA teams at the end of the year.

The NBA All Star weekend is the best in professional sports. I enjoyed last year's All Star weekend in New Orleans, especially with TNT covering it live with Ernie, Kenny and Chuck.

It's a natural breaking point of the season and builds anticipation for the second half.

I think Tony will be there but I doubt Manu will although I think Manu deserves an All Star appearance.

I think George Hill will make the Rookie Challenge if he keeps it up. Therefore, I feel that it will be Duncan and Hill going. Don't think TP and Manu make it this year.

    Tony has a chance.
    Starting G: Kobe, Tmac (china)
reserve : roy, billups? tony?, cp3, deron

    That will be hard.

hmm... west team would most likely be
starters: kobe, timmy, melo, yao, paul
reserves: roy, billups, dirk, gasol, amare, bynum?

the last spot could go to Parker.

George Hill should play in the rookie team.

Mason and Bonner should go to the 3 pt shootout.

Here are 8 guards fighting for it:

    CP3
    Deron
    Kobe
    Roy
    Nash
    Chauncey
    T Mac
    Tony Parker

Their will be 4 guards, 4 forwards, 2 centers, and 2 reserves.

Even if the 2 reserves are guards (which means 6 guards will be picked) Tony could still not make it.

Thats pretty close, but Im not sure that many people around the world like TP that much. And imo who cares about the allstar game, except for those who live in the city its taking place. To me its no different then the Olympics. Its just a show from a team that is put together in order to compete and make money. A gold medal imo has nothing on a Championship ring. But thats just me. I know how the world has changed good or bad. And alot of people think that gold and silver medals are more important than anything else. And Ill stick to my guns.........They are wrong

If allstar is based upon stats alone then i dont see williams or billups making it. Deron has been in and out of injury lately and i could see that affecting his stats. And billups leadership of the nuggets isnt really a stats issue but rather a lockerroom/court presence issue.

If its based on stats alone (and team record) then i dont see how Parker shouldnt make it seeing how this is the best ive seen him play since hes played in the NBA.

    IMO
