Miami is 12-9 while rebuilding. He is playing like a beast and is actually likeable off the court and gracious in his interviews.
There are so many likeable teams in the east so it is going to be hard for me during playoffs...
Detroit
Miami
Philly

Still bitter about the 2006 choke job??
Man why are you guys still so bitter when you guys got most of the calls against us in the WCSF?
BTW Wade torched you'all and don't blame him for your soft showing in the finals.![]()
You still bitter too![]()
I'm just pointing out the irony, thats all. I've moved on and i don't blame the officiating for the series loss. We were fatigued and it kills me to say it, but Pop choked in that series. However he did make adjustments later on in the series, however it was too late. Avery on the other hand against the warriors straight away chocked against Nelly and didn't even make an effort to make adjustments.
See that's what i don't get about that series, why did he set the tone by going Nelly ball straight away. They should have pick and rolled GSW to death, and should have posted up a lot more.
Anyways i'm just pointing out that some of the Mavs still can't get over the 2006 choke job, and admit it, they did choke that series.
D-Wade is a straight out stud and he's ballin right now. I've always believed that DWade might go on to be a better player than Lebron. Unlike Lebron, DWade has an amazing jumpshot (might have a better one than Kobe), plays great D, amazing finishing ability, and has never choked in a playoff series.
D-Wade is great and I've always loved the guy. Loved watching him at Marquette too.

Great player ...yes ...better than Lebron?!
No!!!!
Better jumpshot than Kobe LOL do you watch the GAMES and not just the HIGHLIGHTS intheir OT win against the Warriors last week he missed many open jumpshots ...and that is what you want from DWADE ...jumpers ...dont think he is much better of a sooter than LEbron much less Kobe ...but what he does REAL well is finish and drawing contact (im sure Mavs fans will debate the latter) he is playing great but Kobe did the same before (the 81 point game season) and Lebron last year ...when team is not that good numbers inflate ( , even TMAC in Orlando did the same) he looks great dont get me wrong but she should when the WHOLE offense revolves around him ...what Roy is doing in Portalnd more impressive since he is leading a better team and making the clutch plays when needed
and no, Im not hating on Wade just dont think he is better than Lebron at this point maybe he is catching kobe ...
Don't tell me Kobe wasn't jacking up shots against the Bucks. I really like his game, but he hasn't been consistent this year. Heck, Bynum might take over this team sooner than expected.
People also forget about the Gasol factor. He's made for Phil's triangle offense.
BTW, Wade comes to life in the playoffs and unlike Kobe & Lebron, he elevated his game to a new high in that finals series.
IMO DWade is the best player in the NBA right now. He had an incredible Olympics run and he's continuing to consistently knock that jumper.

well....
I wouldnt underestimate Wade led team in the playoffs even if he is sorounded with scrubs and rookies.
Just look at Cleveland.... 1 man show
that was just straight up nasty.
I don't know what team you've been watching, but Cleveland is absolutely not a 1 man show.Just look at Cleveland.... 1 man show
The Dallas team DWade beat in 2006 wasn't in the same league as the San Antonio team LeBron faced or the Boston team Kobe faced, especially on defense.
Take Lebron out and who can make plays... ?
Wade is the man. He is the best player from the 2003 draft. Maybe it will end up being LeBron but for now Wade is the best.
Take Tim out and where are the Spurs? Take Kobe out and where are the Lakers? Take CP3 out, and where are the Hornets? You can make the same point about every team with a great star. Of course the Cavaliers are built around LeBron. It's a solid strategy, because LeBron is really ing good.
If you take Tim and Lebron out Spurs are much better than Cavs.
You have 2 players beside Tim who can make plays practically at will.
It's only a matter of time before he gets injured again. Wade is too reckless.
TP and Manu are role players. They're outstanding role players, but they're role players nonetheless. Neither would be as effective without Tim, certainly not enough to make the Spurs an elite team by themselves.
Tony and Manu are NOT roleplayer. On a team with just these two guys and a decent PF (not Tim), they still would be PO contenders.
If Tony and Manu are roleplayers, all but 5 guys in the league are role players.
You can be a great player and still be a role player. Scottie and the Rodmonian were role players. But they weren't franchise players. You couldn't build a team around either of them. TP and Manu are great players, they fit well into what their team does, but they aren't franchise players.
My point was that every team with one franchise player is essentially a one-man show. You find that one guy, and every other guy becomes an accessory, really, by design. And that no team in this league- Cleveland, LA, San Antonio, New Orleans- with a franchise player would be a le threat w/o one.
Wow never thought I'd see the day on these boards people would gave wade his props. As for him being better than Lebron or Kobe, we will just have to wait and see. At least until their careers are over.
