Then lost to the Spurs
I was a HUGE Knick fan back in the days of Ewing, Starks, Houston, Sprewell, Childs, etc. I don't think there was a more enjoyable post season run than when the Knicks made it all the way to the Finals.
The Miami Heat rivalry, the Pacers, it was what got me hooked on the NBA.
Now you're a Lakerfan ... why does that not surprise me?
they did lose.
but if you read, he did say "Greatest post season run to not end in a le?"
I just wanted to point out who they lost to![]()
I'd say the 2004 Lakers run was pretty great.
Those were some great playoffs series. Miami and the Knicks was classic
I liked Sacramento's 2002 run with the Laker rivalry. Still the best playoff series this decade.
Pacers runs in the 90s.
the Pacers-Knicks rivalry was great.
I'd take the Suns '93 and the Balzers '92. '90.
Like it or not, the 2006 Dallas Mavericks.
2002 WCF vs. 2006 WCSF, SA vs. DAL, pretty close if you ask me. Both ended in game 7 in OT, with the home team losing. Both were inner state rivalries, but i guess the 2002 WCF was a western finals and thus higher stakes. although, its not like the loser of SA DAL would lose to PHX. Of course, at the time most people thought the west winner was a sure fire finals victor due to the pistons losing, i would have thought the nets were maybe a one game winner in the finals, if lucky and the heat would atleast put up a good fight.
2006...i still have nightmares about that summer...wtf?![]()
What year did you bandwagon over to the Lakers?
2000 i suppose
Game 6 really tainted that series with some of the worst officiating in playoff history.
I have to agree, the refs stole one of those games but Sac had a chance to win again too.
Too bad this isn't about football . . . easy answer.![]()
