Gameday: Spurs vs. Mavericks
The Spurs opened the season with three straight losses. Tonight they take on the Mavericks in Dallas in a rematch of one of those early setbacks.
The Spurs have won 9 of their last 12 and, even though it's still early December, this group has come a long way since the first week of the season.
The Mavs recorded a 98-81 beating of the Spurs on on Nov. 4 at the AT&T Center.
The Mavs went through a slide in early November, but have won 9 of their last 10. Dirk Nowitzki had 24 points Jose Barea had a season-high 22 in Saturday's 100-98 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. Barea, a 6-foot-guard in his third season with the Mavs, averaged 4.3 points last year and 2.4 points as a rookie.

What's the story on him? Have they cleared a roster space for him and is he definitely going to be a Spur?

ya actually both of them will be carrying it. I like to use justin.tv because there is alot of spurs fans on the chat they have for the games.

I agree, there are far worse. But it's frustrating to have had Spurs call only a couple of times this season so far. I'd be happy if I could just get Spurs call half the time. It's nice to get your team's call now and then.
He's playing for the Toros, he does have a roster space taken up on the team, and it'll be January before we see him in a Spurs uniform.

Oh for sure, I also notice the Spurs haven't gotten many home calls. I'm really impressed with the Mav commentators, you almost can't even tell they're rooting for the Mavs.
But save those Spurs home calls for games against super homers like the Celtics
