The Lakers quite frankly will never win a le with defense like this. This year they have too much talent to be this poor defensively. It's the coaching. Until Phil jackson gets serious about defense we will continue to lose like this against certain teams.
That being said, Kings played their heart out tonight and deserved this win. Remember they did lose their last 8 games, I don't think they were too keen on a 9 game losing streak. They always play us well though, doesn't matter who they have playing.

I'm a Laker fan....but even I'll admit that the Lakers are not that good...Celtics and Cavs are way better than the Lakers..and I hate to say this but I will admit that by the way the Lakers played tonight..there is NO WAY they will win in Boston on Christmas..Laker fans need to wake the up and stop smoking the ciga-weed.

Phil is just a figured head. Kobe runs that team from top to bottom. He's probably their own secret coach.
The Lakers remain to have a ty D along with no bigman depth is going to be their downfall when it matters in the playoffs. Seriously fans here brag about how deep their bench is yet they fail to see that they dont have any backup bigman. They have great depth at the wings but they have nothing but for backup bigman. A great bench is loaded at EVERY position which is something the Lakers dont have.
Fisher and Farmar is making Urih look like a combination of CP3 and D-Will.

Right now there are only two contenders and they are both in the East.
The Cavs and Celtics are WAY ahead of everyone else in the league.
The Lakers quite frankly are pretenders right now. Their 17-3 record is a mirage. They will likely win 60+ games this year with their offense alone, but they have nowhere near the defense needed to win a championship.
It's incredible to me how Phil Jackson just refuses to committ this team to defense. The 40 pt anal rapage from the Celtics didn't send a message apparently.
I'll say this right now with the talent the Lakers have there is simply no reason for them to be this poor defensively.
Not worried, Sacramento is always a hard place for the Lakers to win in.
The Lakers just have to keep winning. They dropped off the pace for 75 wins but at 17-3 and they're still on pace for 70 wins.
