Not sure why everyone has penciled either Boston or our Lakers in the finals anyway. It's a long season and so many things can change in a heartbeat. I have Cleveland beating Boston in the east if both stay healthy.
Yup, no excuses today. From the tip off to the buzzer, the Kings just wanted it more, and played like it. Kings are playing better than I ever expected this season/

3 losses and 7/8 losses is not that big of a gap.
big words from the noob...e-thug in the house!
I don't either. But it would be nice for the Lakers to have home court adv. throughout the entire playoffs...and have game 6 and 7 in LA, should they be in the Finals. Not a necessity, but a nice luxury for sure.
, you actually think I meant literally for you to suck my balls?
Back off got.
He's already on my ignore list. No sense in acknowledging and/or encouraging the buffoon.
Agree. But then again, you wouldn't want to go through the entire playoffs starting on the road. So getting that top 2-4 seeds has its benefits.
How was your xmas special on fox tonight Dr. House? Im hearing your show is going to fall to if you end up in a romantic relationship. I have seen your show on and off and I do like it, but the end is near if we have to see a soft romantic side from the doctor.
No game is guaranteed in the playoffs, home or away. Regular season win overload can create a self inflated view, as if the Lakers need anymore of that. Real teams win everywhere at any point in time when it counts.
40 point losses on the road in the playoffs is atrocious, especially in the finals. As evidenced by a previous game, things can shoot downhill at home very quickly. Ray Allen walking to the rim is never a good thing. So homecourt although comfortable, it isn't golden. You have to walk through fire to get gold in this league.
Is House any good? I've wanted to watch it before, but never have.
I've never seen it... but I bet he could score on our guards!![]()
It does, but in the end you usually have to win on the road anyways. It's a one game difference, and sometimes that switching of game order is thrown into the mix which just throws all types of issues into the situation. You could be facing elimination as you head home, that's pressure whether you are on the road or not. If you lose one at home early, it could be all over in that scenario.
It's still better to have HCA, but it isn't the end of the world.
It is. I would check out the first 2 seasons if you are that interested.
Agreed. I always find some humor when the sportcasters make a huge thing about in the pregame commentary of a series. They talk about how a team worked so hard all year to gain the home court and how valuable it is... then the visiting team wins game one... and it's... now we have home court and we only had to work hard for 48 mins.![]()
Yeah we did suck, we make always make point guards look like all stars we need to package lamar and farmar to get us a good point guard or else we are going to get eatin alive by Tony Parker, Rajon Rondo and other good legit PG
Dr. House has a bad leg and walks with a limp...so I doubt it.
On second thought, he probably could still score on Fisher/Farmer with that limp of his.![]()
So. true.
"suck major aatat" that makes no sense
Well, records do give an indication of who has the best chance of winning the Championship. You look at all the teams that won a ring the past 20 years, they've all had the top 3 or 4th best record during the regular season. (exception to Detroit who had the 7th best record when they won, and Houston in '95, but they were the defending champs.)
Guys, the thread le is supposed to be A$$. no "@"s involved!![]()
I hope The Lake Show don't talk about their defense tonight, because I don't know how many times they keep talking about stepping up their defense after games like this, but I highly think it will never happen. The Lake Show keep talking about their defense and how it's important, yet they don't do anything worth the garbage defense (if they even have any) that they play. It's all talk and no walk. They talk about it, but don't even do anything about it, or at times seems like they don't even try doing something about it!!
Yeah, I am getting tired of them talking to Trevor or Andrew after the game about stepping up their D. seems to happen at every post game, and it's getting annoying.
It's Phil Jackson. The team is a direct reflection of its coaching staff.
You can't expect them to be committed to defense when Phil doesn't even chastise them for not doing the basics like boxing your man out or running out at a shooter. Phil has been so obsessed with his offense over the years that he has completely missed the boat on defense. We got away with it in the 3-peat years because we had incredible individual defenders (prime Shaq, Kobe, Horry, Rick Fox, etc.).
The lakers lost a game no big deal. The lakers will finish over 60 W and should keep the #1 seed.
As of today no way the cavaliers are better than the lakers.
1- Celtics
2- Lakers
3- Spurs
