Hedo who........?
Just wondering what you local fans have heard. Or if the interest is still there. As he will most likely opt out to be an FA next year.
Hedo Turbuglukoglu
and we could afford him with what money? He will be a max player probably. Say bye to manu in that case
only if we can trade a retired danny ferry for him.
I highly doubt that.
Don't want him, and no way he wants to be back here. I'm glad to see he has completely resurrected his career in Orlando though.
he's a 1-hit wonder..
he doesn't help our defensive wing problem..we just need a role playing defender at the 3 to help Bruce IMO..
Player who could fit that description that can help us tremendously:
Shane Battier
Turkeylog. I don't think so.
hes playing quite well, but honestly, hedo strikes me as a contract player rather than a true compe or. thats just my opinion though.
I didn't follow the Spurs when Hedo was on them, but he seems to me like he HAS to be one of the main guys, and that's hard when you have 3 significantly better players on the team. On Orlando, no one outside of Dwight is over him on the totem pole.
Hedo has become a pretty damn good player. That said, he wouldn't be nearly as good on the Spurs. The Magic let him handle the ball more than TP or Manu handle the ball. You put him back in San Antonio and he becomes a fourth banana and goes back to being a spot up shooter. And that clankfest in 2004 against the Lakers comes to mind . . .
Uh, no. Hedo is one of the best defenders we've ever been able to put on Dirk. He's also quite a good rebounder. The problem is, he's one of the most un-clutch playoff performers we've ever had. He'll also be 30 by next summer, time to be taken out and shot, according to some on the forum.
No thanks.
Hedo Hedon't
Pop did say Hedo was perhaps the best rebounding 3 he had coached. And it is surprising that he has become quite a clutch player in Orlando though he wasn't for us. I don't see us getting a quality veteran at the 3 without any assets. We're going to have to get our 3 through the draft. Move on.
Yep....I agree Timvp!!
I don't think he would be a good fit for this team right now.
it's all about the c.r.e.a.m.
there's a difference between Hedo when he was trying to prove himself and earn a spot in the NBA, compared to Hedo now, who is known by most NBA fans and is a key offensive player on a good playoff team..
he hasn't been a good defender in years..he would need way too many shots on our team..he doesn't fit at all..
he's not worth the money he got paid, since he's only had 1 good year, and he's having a down year so far too..
because we need more guards, right...
Only if we lost Manu...
and roger jr mason, george hill, and finley.
