We all get screwed by poor officiating every once in awhile. The great teams battle through, the weak ones kick bikes on the way out.
K, let me ask you a question: what is the goal of any great sports franchise, every year? Win a le. The 4 rings thing is overplayed here, but its a fact you continually and moan about like its a card we shouldn't play. Nothing is going to change the fact we got 'em, and the fact you've got no answer for it is further reason to continue doing it.
I would say you're the dip who keeps bringing it up like we should feel guilty or stupid, when it doesn't. The Spurs > Mavs franchise, deal with it.

the 06 Mavs > 06 Spurs. We blew you out on your court without the ref's help, we closed you out on your court without the ref's help, we even spotted you a game with JET's suspension. And Dirk put up 29 and 15 in G6 against Miami, so there goes your "doesn't come through in big games" card.
That is ancient history though, so if you want to rub Miami in my face, there's nothing for me to apologize for. I'm not arguing the Spurs are not a more successful franchise than Dallas, I'm not arguing the Mavs didn't lay a massive egg against Golden State. What I am arguing here is that Dirk's soft choker label is exaggerated, and you guys have no business playing it.
Because if you weren't actually out there making shots and running up and down the court as a member of the team, the chest-thumping is irrelevant.
i don't like jason terry because he always shoots lights out against the spurs. the nut punch bothered me too, but like that happens. if it was a flagrant 1, fine. move on.

I've already conceded the Mavs were the better team in that series. I'm not rubbing Miami in your face, I only provided it as evidence of Terry's "clutch" play (Remember, we're talking about Terry, not Dirk...but we can discuss Dirk if you want to...he was awesome for 3 quarters last night).
Keep your arguments in order....this was about Terry.

OF course there were, and in particular G6 they didn't play a smart game. Having said that, there's no way the Heat would've won 2 games on our floor going back to Dallas down 3-2. Just as there was no way the Lakers would've won two straight against you without .04.
That's why Avery was so upset after G5, because they did enough to win G5 but Salvatore bailed Wade out. Whatever else you or anybody else says about Avery, he's not an excuse-maker.

I still find it hilarious that there were Mavs fans on this board calling out those Spurs fans in the 06 WCSF for dropping the refs card(as they should have because going to the refs card is for pussies)...then two weeks later those very same Mavs fans went to the same refs card against Miami.
