You feel very smooth huh? A fresh shave will do that.
Not me. I've been sipping Disaronno today and I feel very "smooth".![]()

no, it's a frat bar.
BB Rover's is ok, but the majority of their selection is bottled. FLying weak Sauce blows except for the skirts flying up outside. Ginger Man is ok, but the Draught House is where it's at. Best selection in Austin, easily.
Stolichnya, Ketel One, Level.
And Skyy 90 is actually pretty good, even though I don't like Skyy. I know people who either absolutely love or absolutely hate Belvedere, but I've never tried it.
belverdere is OK
Effen Vodka isn't too shabby either.
I like to get effen drunk
i believe belvedere is a rye. chopin is made by the same distillery i think, and is a potato vodka.
IMO a good potato vodka is o's made in Austin.
I went to someone's house recently and they had some weird Swedish vodka I'd never tried before, but it was surprisingly good. Svedka, maybe?
I have had Svedka and it is good. I am not a big Vodka drinker though so my opinion doesn't count. I ejoy whiskey or tequila.
The one up north isnt. Its a older crowd and quiet.
Yeah but I like 5 mins from Rovers. I go to the Draught House every chance I get.
Well yeah, everyone's next door at nxnw, which doesn't suck! I am a10 min bike ride from dh. Why the you live up by ewood if you work down south?
Chilled tequila?
Then again, I'm not a big margarita fan either. I like tequila much better at room temperature.
I'd pick Don Julio, but Herradurra's pretty smooth too.
I hate every vodka I've ever tried. I'm not a good person to ask on that. I really don't like any liquor other than tequila.
If you're going to use vodka in a mixed drink, then odds are you won't be able to tell the difference between a low-end vodka and a premium vodka.
If you're going to drink it neat, then I recommend Jewel of Russia, Chopin or Belvedere.
Depends on the drink. I usually stick to well vodka if I'm getting something girly, like an apple martini or a cosmo, because those drinks are mixed with the specific intention of covering up the flavor of the vodka. If I have a martini or a vodka tonic (my two favorite drinks), however, I'm not going low-end. Especially considering that the way I like my martinis -- no olives, and only a hint of vermouth -- is basically drinking it neat in a prettier glass.
I dont work down south, I work up North. I havent worked down south in like 6 years. Ive only been to nxnw twice. It gets pretty packed in there. My friend used to like to go to Iron Cactus cause he could smoke in there and it was close to where we both lived. Since he moved I havent been there though.
If its good Tequila I like it room temp or chilled but if Im sipping chilled is the way to go IMO. Yeah same here DJ is the best for the price but yeah Herradurra's is smooth and a good Tequila. Im looking for something for new years.
Thats how I am too. I can drink other stuff if someone has something else at their house and I'm a guest. But when I a choice tequila is it for me. Drinking it chilled for me is tough. Drinking it cold is almost like taking a shot of cough syrup.

Cough Syrup??? No way man, almost everyone I know has a bottle of good tequila in their fridge. Its the way to go and in no way does it feel like cough syrup.
Maybe it's because I am used to drinking it at room temperature. It just seems harder to get down for me when it's cold.
Just open up your throat, we know your used to that hahahah.
