The pizza argument doesn't matter anyway. The tests confirmed what was in there so its not even debatable. The maid that was accused has been cleared which in my eyes pretty much proves along with the evidence that the mom was trying to pin a death on someone else. I'm not sure what you guys are debating about.
The mom blamed a random person for kidnapping her daughter.
There is no reason to blame a total stranger unless you're crazy or trying to hide something or both.
They found evidence of a corpse and hair samples from the child in the trunk.

What little I know about this case makes me think the mother just killed her daughter because she didn't want her.

Yeah that is what I'm thinking. She didn't report her missing until a month later, and before that she was clubbing and going out. But it's like where is the remorse?
What a . I have friends that aren't able to have kids and would have loved to be her parents. I can't stand those dumb assholes that do stuff like that to children. They should lock them up forever with people that are separated from their kids.

That does have remorse but it is deep deep down inside. She is human and she knows she ed up. She will hate herself for the rest of her life for this action. See I dont believe that. I know deep deep deep deep down inside, she gives more than 2 s about what she did. I dont care how much she says or even shows she doesnt care about what she did. Really. Hundreds or even THOUSANDS of children go missing EVERY YEAR. Why the F do you care about this one?
Is it because some of us fall into the latest media trap? The media picks and chooses one murder/kidnapping/whatever and runs it over and over as if it mattered more than the other cases like it. This is how they get you to watch their commercials and run their business.
Artificially create interest as if it was somehow important. Casey Anthony is not important. There are tons of murders, child murders, kidnappings, whatever. It happens everyday. There is no reason to care one way or another for this one. It's the same story.

Just because they are talking in this thread about this particular one, doesn't mean they don't care about them all. I don't see anyone caring about all the hundreds of other cases that happen. This one though, because the media fed it to us. Is she the president's daughter or something? What is so important? Nothing, that's what. And the population (you and I) feed right into their crap and worry about insignificant things like this instead of worrying about actual IMPORTANT things - such as everything that's wrong with our country. National debt skyrocketing, politicians selling Senate seats, bankrupt social security system, corrupt health care system, government $700 billion bailouts on companies like AIG that are now using the money to kill compe ion and host private expensive retreats, CEO's making 200million dollar salaries while the average worker makes 8 dollars an hour, how 97% of the government's income tax revenue comes from the poor - those who make under 30k a year, should I go on?

The answer is she isn't any more special than anyone else. The news is using Anthony's case for ratings. That's what they do - they exploit stories for money - and that's what my problem with it is. It's ratings so they can get you and me to worry about who killed the Anthony girl and then turn around sell commercial spots with the ratings they get. It's manipulation and causes distraction from important things.
I get it. You care about kids you have never met that you see on corporate news because everyone is important to you. Well, at least the ones we catch on TV before going out to Starbucks. I wonder how the parents of little Johnny feel. You know, that family that had their little son kidnapped and murdered, but aren't on TV? I wonder if they ever think why didn't their sons case get this much attention? What makes their son undeserving?
