good ....yeah its beeen a while and I wanted to try orange box and if I can find it for cheap at the store I will hit it up
thanks dude
I haven't played any of these but I heard that left for dead SUCKS unless you have friends you know and trust to play it with you. With the right friends, people seem to be loving it. But it's entirely predicated on online co-operation to survive zombies. A lot of environmental/puzzle solving stuff.
Didn't Cry Havoc or somebody make a dead-space thread saying it was cool? I'm over it just because I don't think it has multi-player and as a kind of generic IMO first person shooter, is probably better as a rental than a $60 purchase.
I don't know about Fallout 3 other than the fact Bethesda made it, it's been reviewed well and it's engrossing enough to be worth your money. I guess it depends on you liking/having time for role playing games or not.
Prince of Persia just came out and all the reviews are saying it's really fun and just beautifully rendered. It's apparently easy and kind of short though.
If you don't have The Orange Box it ain't exactly new, but for 29 bucks you can't really go wrong with Half Life and Portal. In fact, if you haven't played them it should be a top priority.
I started this thread saying that I didn't play Ninja Gaiden II, but I popped it in the other night and really enjoyed it. Like resistanze said, it's hard as , but it's also fairly long, and replayable. Worth considering.

just pm me a list bro.
If anyone wants to seel Bioshock ill buy for 20
I wish I would've finished it. Fantastic game, and I got close to finishing it, but after I stopped playing it for a while, I had no motivation to complete it.
Bioshock for XBox360 is only $30 new, and can be found at 4 of the 5 Best Buys in SA

It's easily worth $100 though. The lighting, the music, and the story completely blow away 99.99% of anything I've ever seen.
I thought the ending was a bit anti-climactic, though. Both in gameplay (fighting the last boss was easier than taking on a Big Daddy) and story. Still better than a lot of games, and definitely worth playing, but after the bar had been set so high by the rest of the game I just didn't think it quite lived up.
I liked the ending just fine. The protaganist goes on to live a lasting life with a family that he never had. As for the last guy being easy, that probably has something to do with you being a big daddy
I got a different ending, so that may be part of the reason. I need to beat it a few more times and treat the Little Sisters differently.
I just went on youtube
SWEET im going to buy it as soon as I beat the games I listed on here.
Yeah what was up with that? I forgot to buy any health packs going into the final boss (just like in Ninja Gaiden 2 - bad habit) and I thought I was screwed. But I beat the boss on the first try. I also got your ending and I wasn't impressed -- the whole endgame sequence was also too short.
LOL. You heartless bas . You get the good ending if you save them all, and the ty one if you kill even one of them.
I harvested two of them, but saved all the others. From what I read, there are three special endings: save them all, harvest them all, and harvest one but save the others. Any other combination, including ignoring some/all of them, gets the boring ending.
i just bought about 7 used games in the last couple of weeks.. .hopefully i play them and dont let them sit around
i bought: battefield: bad company, R6V, R6V2, assassins creed, call of duty, call of duty 2, and GRAW 2.
GTA4 was a overrated. Oh yay, you mean I have to stop by the armor/gun shop before every mission? And if I fail, I get to call a cab or drive out to the spot all over again? Exciting!
Does no one have f'ing cell phones in that game? Yeesh.
Who the is that hottie in your sig? That's what I want to know.
Edit: Derp, missed it the first time. Guess I was too eager.

Rainbow6Vegas is awesome; way better than the first GoW IMO.
BTW, if anybody is up for playing GOW2 online (assuming the ever works), CoD4, Ulti Alliance or anything else, ShoutedSilence is my gamertag.
Fallout 3... I opened it and gave it a shot since it was just sitting there and I confirmed my belief that I suck at games nowadays. Seems pretty cool if you're into those types of games, but I need something that requires little to no thinking lol. If any of you are willing to trade (GOW2, Left 4 Dead, DCvsMK, or maybe even World @ War), let me know. I've had no luck on Craigslist since it has been getting slammed lately in the games/toys dept (an ad will only stay on the first page for an hour or two).
If you wanted to do a straight up across the board trade for GOW 2, I'd be interested. I don't live in TX though so we'd have to do it by mail. Let me know by PM if you're down.
Fallout 3 is a pretty fun game. I beat the main game after like, 30 hours of play, and there's still areas I haven't explored. A lot of dialogue though.
