Devin Harris.
How badly does it hurt, mavs fans?
Down 98-80
Nets on fire from behind arc, Kidd missing layups, Dirk missing FT's, Jho being J-Ho.... not a good night.
Devin Harris.
How badly does it hurt, mavs fans?
Salt on an open wound.
Bad enough that you didn't answer with a come back?
Damn, this is serious.
I just want to know what about last year's club led Cuban and Donnie to conclude that PG play was a weakness. Devin has not yet proven he can stay healthy for 70+ games, but how in the did they think that it was a weakness when he was out on the court?
Marion for Shaq I understand on a theoretical basis. Marion was off the reservation and bringing down the chemistry because of his unsatisfaction with his contract, the Suns weren't going to win a le as is, and they were never going to get past San Antonio without some added size and muscle up front. It was a worthy gamble.
Kidd for Harris is so incoherent and dumb, I don't even know where to begin.
You do realize that all the Mav trolls from 2006 are gone. Those of us left stick with our team through thick and thin...you might want to troll a Mavs board with your schtick.
Cuban's ass had better be on the bench with his team. He needs his nose rubbed in it. Good for Devin.
Damn son, I feel bad now![]()
Mark Cuban's face makes this loss totally worth it.
That team is outside of Devin and Wince, it goes to show you how good Milkface has been.
Hahaha.
Mark Cuban's expression is priceless.
What a wad.
He's slowly turning into Jerry Jones with his I know enough about basketball to be my own GM charade. Get a real basketball guru, Mark. You're not a GM.
Can someone post a pic?
I like it more when cuban was more involved with the mavs, he used to make moves. It's clear that we need to trade j-ho but cuban is being to much of a to make any changes.. its just getting ridiculous now. I bet a 5th grader could put a better team together than this we have now.
Mark Cuban's clearly vexed that every 3 the Nets throw up is going in.
I know Devin has went off tonight, but Kidd has had a pretty good game as well. let's not act like swapping Kidd w/ Devin would've made us elite.
I see problems regarding role player production and Josh Howard's lack of game imprint.
It's once bitten, twice shy. Cuban has to know he goofed badly on the Kidd trade. You don't go after somebody just because he's a big name, and Kidd is about as big a name as there is. Now he's probably too afraid to make a move because as trades go, they don't come anymore lopsided or blow up in your face quite like this one did.
Amazing that the guy to dump was Howard. Who would've thought that in February? If we had kept Devin and traded Josh for some low-post help, ah what might've been...
The crowd is chanting thank you cuban![]()
This team hasn't had an architect since Nellie left. That's what the Mavs need more than anybody else. The West was incredibly tough last year and Cuban shat his pants when he realized the Mavs might miss the postseason if they had to wait on Devin getting healthy. You don't trade a 25 yr old PG because you're worried about missing out on that coveted 7 seed.
ouch lol, i wonder what cuban is thinking right now. i dont feel sorry one bit for him either because his dumbass because he still trusts donnie who is obviously the worst gm in the league. He doesnt do except says we' have the best mavs team over that in idiot... but i'm not sure about kidd anymore, see how much better nuggets got with billups? if kidd was that good wouldn't of we got better? we clearly are a joke of a team now.
We're a team that beats bad teams and loses to good teams. That's the definition of 45-37 and missing the playoffs in the West.
Too bad they didn't have a larger crowd to join the "thank you, Cuban" chant.
I do feel a little bad for Kidd. He walked to the locker room like a dog with it's tail between it's legs. I think the chants hurt his feelings.
In other words, Murphy's Law has been in effect like a mother er for this franchise since May 6, 2007.
Kidd has been playing well for us, but that's not really the issue. PG was not a weakness for us last year, unless you were convinced Devin couldn't play 70+ games a year.
